I doubt he'd give you the satisfaction of telling him you don't want him!! He probably knows that, and so he's not going to put himself in a position that he would really have to admit to making a HUGE mistake - I know he did it on IM, but facing up to you in person, asking you to take him back etc etc - that would take a huge amount of sucking up...could his pride handle it??? I don't think so <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> Far better (he would think) to still be a little self-righteous about it all, and say he doesn't want you. Hang in there Jacky <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

Hi Jacky-
I just had to respond to your response because you think so much like me. Right now my X is still with the OW, actually they are engaged. If it was to end and he didn't come crying back it would make me wonder why even though I know it isn't about me. It is such an ego thing for me. I know I don't want him back no matter what, I just want the opportunity to reject him as well so I guess I to am a b****!! as well.
I don't know, but it seems to me that most of the WS's who regret their decisions and come crawling back seem to be female. In addition to those on this board I know of two personally one of which did it too late. Could it simply be the difference between males and females? Are we destined to never get our chance to reject? Anyway keep up the great attitude. You husband lost a true gem whether he admits it or not!
Take care and God bless!
K

How the HECK am I supposed to feel about that?????</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">"Ha! - Guess there WAS trouble in paradise after all" That is how I'd feel about that. Seems like he's just another not-so-shining example of how WSs can really foul up things for their families and Mates by being selfish and throwing away everything dear and precious - just so they can have a physical fling with some mindless bimbo - then when the FOG lifts and REALITY sets in - well, they're left HIGH and DRY... I agree with you - you've moved on - who said you ever were supposed to just stand idly by and let him continue STOMPING all over your heart? And do you suppose HE would have done what he expected you to do if it had been the other way around? NOT! You keep on keeping on - and God will bless you. Here's a little 'love & light' right back at ya! Harold

Wow. I guess they are really splitsville. What could xH possibly expect? Did he think it would last>?????
Not sure if you guys remember, but some of my girlfriends back home ran into OW...This was first inkling that I got of their split..She was at a big social thing for yuppies and one of my girlfriends that OW doesn't know so well went over to speak with her. They used to be friends somewhat in college. She informed my friend that she was "OUT A HUNTING AGAIN" b/c she had Ended a long relationship. My friend asked, "anyone I know" and OW replied no. OW never divulged who her mystery man was the whole time. She had enough. I had let her know about him when he tried one other time to come over durign the night.
Guess OW hate to be "cheated" on. Hope your WH is feeling very down and all sorry for himself. Poor man. He lost his plaything. His fog has lifted and he has discovered that he is alone. He may still have some fog left like my WH does..May still believe he is a "bimbo magnet" and try luck again out on singles scene but trying to replace YOU will prove waaay too hard.
I think males are just better at hiding their emotions than females. Personally, I am still betting that Tom C. leaves Penlope and goes back or begs Nicole K back one day...That would be another Aussie tale for the record books. The grass is not greener and the greenest grass grows over cow patties. BS (and not betrayes spouses) makes excellent fertilizer for the SHORT TERM. Yes, he will regret it. Probably sitting alone, drinking a Foster's (that is whwat you guys drink down there) listening to an Aussie Country Love Song with a tear in his eye remembering how good he once had it. Hope I bring a smile to you. YOU ARE WORTHY. HE WILL FIND THIS OUT MAYBE NOW BUT SOON. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />
