A request for prayer for a very dear friend of mine. She is married to a man with quite severe mental illness, and is REALLY stuggling right now. She takes care of almost everything in their home, and he is going through a rough time now with his depression, so Please pray that God will grant her the grace to carry on. She's feeling very worn out mentally these days, and her love tank is 'below' empty. Thanks in advance for the prayers. Also please remember her husband in your prayers, for healing of his illness, and sensitivity towards his wife. Names are Blane and Vicky.

cajunky, please add my name to your prayer list. I wanted to thank you for your previous response, and yes, prayers for my H's sobriety are what's needed first.

I realized that this is a hard one for me because sobriety could bring happiness for him with the OW. I am still filled with resentment that makes it hard for me to really want the best for him. So, also pray for me to release him with love to God's guidance and purpose for him.

I'm praying for your ministry, both here at MB and with the homeless. You've really turned a painful life lesson into a blessing for others.

Letstry... RESENTMENT ....That is one word that has eaten me up the last few months. I have had so much resentment, jealousy, bitterness in my heart it was ruining my life. I read in the bible several times and then it finally sunk in that God will not listen to our prayers if we have any of these things in our heart. Believe me it is hard to get rid of but I found that if I asked God to get rid of it he would. It may creep back in but we just have to ask God to remove it again.

My wife is dating a guy who is in the army and he has a daughter(wife died). I wanted him to go to war to get away from my wife but that was brought on by RESENTMENT . When I ask God to get rid of it I was able to pray for him and mean it. In fact God laid it on my heart to tell him that I was praying for him and I told him this past weekend.

We just have to leave our situations in Gods hands. He has the plan for us but he also wants us to pray to let him know our request.

Thanks for the encouraging words. God has really changed the person I am and the person I will be. If my wife could only see this great transformation that I am experiencing we would be a christ-like couple again.

Love in Christ
