Wow - I didn't know there were so many from the Phila area. I don't live in Phila, but grew up there & all my family is still there.

I just got back from spending a month at my Mom's outside Phila. FWH & I closed down our business there ( his den of iniquity <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="images/icons/blush.gif" /> ) He spent the last 5 years living 1200 miles away from home. Amazing story but he came home just before Christmas 2003.

Christmas 2002 we did a North East get together in NYC. It was great to meet others from MB. In NYC, a few of us brought kids (many teens) but if I had to do it again, I wouldn't have brought my 16yo D because there were just some things that I didn't want to say in front of her.

When we did the NYC get together, we also posted it on the GQ board and some attended. I don't think there were any from recovery, but I'm not sure we posted there.

If I am in the area at the time, would love to attend. I know I'll be up there for a family reunion the end of July (not sure if it's the 24th or the 31st)

We came to Philly to close down our business (thank God). Originally we expected to be there only a week or so, turns out it was a month. A month of HELL, but glad to get it over with !!!!

Yes, I am in Real Estate and LOVE it! I think I was made for this business. Years ago in Penna, I was a realtor, but it's much more fun at the beach. People are making so much money at it, that there literally are people at the door wanting properties.

It's good to be out of the family business, though we are still working through crap and will be for a while.

Well, Philly's not too far for many, and Southwest Airlines is flying there starting in May.
