Hey thanks Delbert! I really needed the laugh today. I had to go to the dentist to get a filling replaced, then had to go back to have D's teeth taken care of. I hate the dentist, and the shot I had to get. Yes, I am a baby when it comes to needles, even though it didn't hurt. But, the IV hurt like he!! when I was being admitted to have Abbi. I literally screamed, which scared the nurse, so she had someone else do it. I told her to numb the spot first!! Also, Sailorman is doing just that this week, and won't be back till next Thurs, the day before my parents arrive for a 10 day visit to the lovely isle! I can't wait to see them! It has been over a year since I saw them, and almost 2 years since H saw them! That is the biggest thing that I hate about being here. Otherwise, it is just like any other military station.
OOPS!!!! Look what I did, I rambled. That's what happens when I get Abbi to take a nap, and get right on the computer. Sorry [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Love,
Tigger(Or maybe it's Eeyore today)

Gregg, Delbert, whoever you are right now [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
As of right now, it is 7:45pm., so saying "Good Night" is still ok. The time difference can sometimes be an inconvenience. There are times when I get up in the morning, and I've missed out on a lot on the board. Oh well, hopefully we will be back stateside in the next year and a half.
Tigger

gregg~
no beaches, no trees, no ocean breeze, nothing. just a big hot unfriendly sun!
i grew up in hawaii! that is where i windsurfed silly. and boy am i homesick. i gave it up before my senior year in h.s. because my dad was pushing me to compete, and i didn't want to. he loves windsurfing, and was a fanatic when i was younger.
glad to see ya around again. my last day at work was today. i start class next week! and i am jobless until i find something. talk to ya later!!
happy_girl future RN

Hey Happy,
You know that I would trade places in a heart beat! I so miss my Arizona mountains, although I never did like the heat. But, in the words of a true Arizonan, "It's a dry heat!" [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] It was VERY muggy today, little to no wind and in the mid to low 80's. In fact, I just got back from a quick trip to buy some milk and was bombarded with those flying ants, or are they termites? Had the heeby geebies all the way home(less than a mile).
Spike, George, Delbert, Gregg, and whoever will eventually show up,
Man, you need to go to bed!! You will probably still be on if I check later tonight, or early morning when Abbi wants to eat! Oops, I forgot to tell you that we are on Oahu. Our son is getting ready to go to the big island on Mon and will also be getting back on Thurs. It will be a girl's week at our house starting Monday!!! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
I'll talk to you all later.
Love,
Tigger
[This message has been edited by tigger4jdt (edited May 19, 2001).]

tigger, i never minded the weather back home. it is 11:43 and 90 degrees out. sickening. i would take some of that humidity in a heart beat!!! and a day at the beach. give abbi a hug!
gregg, you are sure up late! my goodness when do you sleep.
i wouldn't go to missouri i guess so i won't complain. my dad lives in indiana now, haven't been there, but know i couldn't live thru one winter. H either, he hates the cold.
my docs were sad. they both told me that i was too bright to stay where i am, that i need to go on. one told me i should go to med school, but i told him i was too smart for that! i see what they do to docs. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] one told his brother's (a doc too) NP that i was like his right arm and he didn't know what he would do without me. how cute. i was blessed to work with wonderful docs. i am sad to leave but can't wait to be a nurse, and then go on to other things later. either a NP, or nurse anesthetist. depends on where i live and what programs they have there.
thanks for your support!!!
happy_girl future RN

Hey happy girl RN,
Are you a scrub tech? Most underpaid, overworked, underappreciated profession there is. Your doc wasn't jokin' when he said you were his right hand!!

God bless you,
------------------
Gregg
