Dear Gregg,
I KNOW I am in the wrong business. Hey, I play a real mean cornet (like a trumpet, you know, but better for the blues). If we put that together with your drums, how many millions do you think we could make?
I could sure use a million or two just now.
-cd

Dear Gregg,
It's funny you should mention Dizzie Gellespie. People are always comparing my playing to his. Why, even complete strangers sometimes say that I am a real "dizzie dame" I can't quite figure out how they know that I play horn, though.
-cd

Hey Gregg,
I played bass for a short while and can bang out a tune on the piano.
I couldn't sing to save my life.
But cornet is my main instrument. In addition to the Dizzie comparisons I told you about, I also was once compared to the late great Louie Armstrong! After speaking to a young man one day, I heard him say, ere I walked away, "That girl is a real lou-lou." I am just CERTAIN he was referring to my cornet playing. hahaha!
We could almost put together a band here with the members. Maybe we could call ourselves "Mr. Harley's Lonely Hearts Club Band." What do you think?
-cd
