Dear everyone (and especially Gregg who has been checking in every hour )<P>The ultrasound went very well today. I had a tremendous surprise though -- what showed up on the monitor was not one ... but two heartbeats! Twins!<P>The sight filled me with joy and fear at the same time. I miscarried twins and the ultrasound conjured up those horrible memories. But then I told myself that I could not spend the next six months worrying. So today, for the first time since I learned of the pregnancy, I put my future and the little heavenlys future in God's hands.<P>He has brought me this far. I will trust Him to take me the rest of the way. <P>Gregg, you said something wonderful in one of your posts about our having to learn to accept what God has in store for us. Well, I never would have imagined that this far down the road God would have had something so wonderful planned for me. Dear HeavenlyBodies (3--count them, 3--mom and two little bodies),<P>This is to the two little ones. Be kind to your new momma. Don't kick her too much. Stay off her bladder and don't ask for so many hormone that she is sick all the time. Stay put, right where you belong until 39 weeks (or whatever the right number is). Grow strong and healthy. You have a wonderful mom in your future. Right now just enjoy her from the inside. Don't be in a rush to get here.<P>We could do a cyber shower. The nicest thing I ever saw at a baby shower was when someone brought two cheap strings and bunches of inexpensive beads. Each guest made one wish for the mother and one for the baby. As you made your wish, you placed a bead on the necklace. Course we would have to have an extra necklace because there is an extra baby. The mother and dad each wore a necklace into the delivery room to remind them of the prayers, hopes and wishes of their friends and family.<P>I would be happy (later in the pregnancy) to be the necklace builder. You all can send me your wishes and when we are done, I will send the necklace to HeavenlyBody and Mr. HeavenlyBody.<P>Mrs. Job
