Staci, I also too believe you are one of the strongest people I have ever heard of. It's nearly impossible for me to imagine what you have gone through and I find myself thinking you are darn near heroic for taking in this baby and loving the way you obviously do. I have stepchildren and as much as I love them, it's a challenge too because I find myself having trouble with the exwife thing. She is like an OW sometimes because she insinuates herself into our lives using the kids as an excuse. This is not a post about me, but I can say, what you are going through is unimaginable and I salute you for everything you are doing. You are a saint. God rewards people like you. Keep that in mind. Well, as some of you may have been aware, today was court for us. <p>Today was mainly a meeting of the attorneys so our attorney told us we didn’t need to hang around the courthouse all day, that we could go home. If she needed us, she would call.<p>We got home and had some major reservations about not being in the courtroom to hear everything. But we did feel that we could rely on our attorney to let us know if we were needed. <p>About 3:00 this afternoon, we got a call. It was our attorney. She wanted to let us know that they had called the case when she was in another courtroom. The attorney for BB did not want the Risk Order to be filed on his client. Remember, he is the same attorney she has in the case of her son, the one that was removed from her custody. <p>So… Now we go to trial. Woo Hoo… now the fun really begins… April 12th. <p>That gives BB plenty of time to make TONS of mistakes… and we know that she will make them…<p>Thanks for all your kind words of support. Stacia: I just wanted to say that I think what you are doing is wonderful, I wish I could be as open toward our other child, but unfortunately I see the child as a reminder of the affair and the hurt that was caused by my husbands "mistake". We are still working on our marriage and I think that I can finally say that we are getting to a much better place, but taking very small steps. My H is working very hard at understanding his part in all of this especially pre-affair, and I think it is hard for him.
All that said...I wanted to let you know that I will keep you in my thoughts and hope you will keep us posted on your journey...it could help so many...
