Thanks for the info and the website. I looked on the website and saw the calculator. It looks like they don't take the kids from your marriage into consideration. Do you know how that works in CA?

I have a friend that is going through a child support issue in California and they don't live in that state, but the child does with her mother. The father has since remarried has almost 2 kids with my friend. The final court date is at the end of Sept. and this 2nd child is due in Oct. it sounded to me that they were taking into consideration both of these kids. The child that they are seeking child support on is 6 years old.
