Kimmy,

I sincerely apologize. I did not mean to come across that way. Your posts seemed so sad, and you said Nio was leaving Friday. I am so sorry I added to your pain. I admit that statement was wrong and I do want you to have hope. I only meant to be supportive and understanding in that I am going through pain too though not the same pain as you. Yes I am hurt because I looked up to you and thought you could help me. I am trying to do me now and be strong. I went to the lake Saturday with my kids and had a good time. I am sorry to lose you as a supporter. I will not e-mail you as you wish. I have been through emotional abuse for many years as you know and it hurts. I am so sorry kimmy. I guess me wanting your help was too much in your pain. I am sure if you beleive your marriage will work and you have a plan then you can make it work. I will only read your post from now on if that is your wish. I am taking your statements to my therapist to see what I can do to change my personality. I am so sorry.

Gina: I read your apology, and I think that you don't need to change your personality. I think WE all need to maybe look at our lives and change some things - traits that we carry that we can imporve on. I think Nios is very hurt right now and it just struck a nerve with her (sorry to talk for you Nios) and it was very bad timing for both of you. I know in the past that Nios has been very supported towards so many of you guys, and maybe right now she just can't do it, do you know what I mean? Sometimes we need to be supported ourselves and can't deal with the rest of the world as much as we want to, we just can't. I do feel that ent and a few others have hit it on the nail about your relationship witht men. I would take that as a "trait" that needs to be changed. I'm sure your personailty is just fine. I know that we all go through things in our lives and we have to think of ourselves first instead of others in order to get our problems and life back in order. As you know when you have kids and all and have to work and live your daily life and set things apart from each other it can be sooooooooo overwhelming. Even the best prescribed drugs only take the edge off. I'm sure if given some time Nios will respond to you. Hey I pissed her off with a comment and she came back a few days later and apoligized. I've done it here and other boards as well. I also think that sometimes when you don't really see someone making baby steps towards recovery of whatever it is that is a problem, at some point you loose patience. I'll tell you when I was with xmm I knew it was wrong, and I knew at some point that he was not going anywhere and probally was lying about a whole lot of things. I was realizing all this. I was seeing the light so to speak. I was telling my friends I was ending it (and would for like a couple of hours) but go right back into it. I was doing NOTHING to imporve that trait of not standing up for myself and doing what was right for me. My friends were tired of hearing about me complain about xmm. It was getting old to them. Once I started showing I was moving on to imporve my thinking and doing things to move on I felt better about myself, and my friends were much more supported of me. I'm not saying this to be mean........just been there done that. I hope I did not insult you as this post was not meant to be. I just felt so bad when I saw what you wrote on your apology post to Nios.

Gina, I think that is a good idea. I did and it helped me big time. I've never been one to try anything like that as "I'm the strong one and can handle and get through anything".......wrong....we all human and sometimes we need a little help. Good luck Gina!

For you who I talk to IRL - phone wise, I'm an idjit....you know you are loosin' it when you "clean" off the kitchen table, put your daytimer away, then walk out of the house without it because it wasn't in plain view - duh! So, you're gonna have to do the callin...I've got no numbers here for my fingers to do the walkin' on! Sorry. You can make fun of me for it if you want...we all know I'd never let something like that slip by if the roles were reversed!
