Autumn, M&TB said this to a BS on HER board- a BS who was NOT confronational, who was IN PAIN and was trying FOR C w/oc.. however, NTMO gave her the ****NEWSFLASH***** I spoke of and mocked the BS in general saying BOO HOO who cares about YOU. It is upsetting BECAUSE she and her friends that she "protects" come here. Why?

Uh wrong poster.......It's not even my saying News Flash. If I say something I'll be more than happy to admit to it, but I normally don't newsflash people.

LOL

I think these types of 'discussions' are really nothing more than 'distractions' from our real lives that are either TOO overwhelming to face @ the moment or just too boring. Like watching a soap-opera. I'll be the first to admit: I like it sometimes.

I think it serves a purpose sometimes.

But those complaining that it shouldn't be here & it's unnecessary, blah blah blah---well, you are going against what you are posting by even contributing to such a thread that you find 'disdainful' dontcha' think?

I mean if you really didn't like it then why contribute @ all? If everyone hated it & didn't copntribute then it would go unnoticed to the bottom of the page NOT have....9 pages!!!!! duh!!!

We're just keeping the monster alive by feeding it. LOL

SOMETIMES you don't want to FOCUS on MB, sometimes you wanna FIGHT, argue, throw stones.

And that can be therapuetic-I'm not saying ALL the time--I'm just saying......sometimes you just wanna FIGHT right?

And I don't mean being mean & nasty------I really don't think all the people (mostly women) here are like that @ all. Not even lynng, even though some of you think that.lol

I think we are all here just to find that ONE magic cure. There is none but we keep looking.

Whoever posted about trying to make ourselves look good to others-I thought there was a lot of truth to that.

Everyone wants/needs/craves validation in their lives. We all want to be recognized for the good we have done NOT just that LABEL that we think will follow us around forever. WE want to prove how we have changed & for the better.

I get that. I'm right there. I agree.

WE are all just trying to find our way through this maze & SOMETIMES it's fun just to lollygag instead of hearing or reading about ANOTHER marriage gone BAD------we know how painful it is---we don't want to read about another OC being born---hey we know that is another potentially fatherless child----or another dad that feels torn.

Because ALL of us know that we can guarantee that they will still be here tomorrow & in another few days there will be another one, another newbie who is shocked, torn, devastated & everything----on BOTH boards.

NTMO....

Notice, even in your quote of mine, I said M&TB... which is not you silly!

AND KT-- LOL!!!

Hey, we can't act any less human here on the boards. In "real" life we have misunderstandings and bickering and stuff that is not exactly positive to our daily growth as human beings (ha ha!) Trust me, I work in a firm w/lots of great women, and we have plenty of things to fuss about that are not profitable to to our firm, much less that shows maturity on our parts!!!

Catty I am not, but human I am, and we all are- and that makes for disagreements and sometimes, yes, silly bickering.

BUT to all of you OW here- I have no real beef with you!!!! I will have something to say regading things I disagree with, though, and thats about the extent of it.

A lot of this "bickering" on my behalf really is not towards Mary or her clan from TOW-- I think a lot of it comes from how I was treated so rudely at their site- and have probably taken it out on them.

Further, Mary and Fortori&natesake... I searched my brain to remember something that I feel bad about. YOU were both kind to me there and I have been quite harsh w/both of you probably and for that I truly apologize. I dont agree 100% with OW being here but I do somewhat. I disagree w/how the BS is treated over "there" but neither of you have anything to do w/the operation of that site, and again, I probably am more harsh towards ya'll for what OTHERS did, and not you. Please accept my apology if I was unjustifiably harsh.

I said that to Starfish, who I believed to be someone else.... and IF it were that someone else, she'd know why I said the "housecoat and curlers" thing..

What a HOWL... the other day my H was SO TICKLED to see a woman in the grocery store w/a full head of curlers--- he told me as soon as he came in the door.

He said "now THATS ghetto"... haaaaa!!!

Nope no curlers here although up until a couple of years ago I was curling the girls hair in sponge curlers and they'd sleep in them all night. I have the cutest pictures of them in them. Now one has naturally curly hair and I just the curling iron on the other. But when I saw what Gio said I was laughing as what I looked like at that very moment.

Nios--

I've been to Walmart at every part of the day, night.. sober.. drunk.... awake.. half asleep... LOL!!!

If I did not work during the day I think I'd be permanent fixture there.

Its a real shame-- go for the excellent price/choice of groceries-- and THEN wind up with AT LEAST another 100.00 in STUFF that I dont need at all! haa!

I thought EVERYBODY vacuumed in pearls & high heels------ oh no, my world is crumbling around me. What is happening to this society when a women can't get up enough gumption to put on a string of pearls & some heels? I am absolutely horrified! Really, how hard is it?

I mean if you vacuum in nothing but pearls & high heels------you don't even need make-up becuase we all know that no one is gonna be looking @ your face! LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

Ok did our kids get a memo or what? One actually asked to go to bed because they were so tired but woke up as soon as they heard dad walk through the door & climbed back in my bed.....then decided they were tired after all & went back in their bed. Then the other was already drooling on my pillow so I put him in her bed because he's too heavy to lift to the top bunk. Then she woke up in the middle of the night crying for me & got back in my bed & then the other woke up crying soon after becuase his sister was gone from the bed so he had to join us as well & then he had the nerve to snore all night!

These are the mornings I tell them to just go turn on PBS & leave me alone & I think they are eating the cookies we made last night. (sigh)

oh well....I'm off to neverland........

KT,

Just the mere *thought* of running the vaccum (regardless of attire ) makes me even MORE exhausted than I already am...

Lucky for me, Wednesdays's are my "lazy days"..

(P.S I finally met a great guy! )

**rub, rub, rub** LOL!

Seriously though, it's BAAADDD. I feel so guilty because it's a nice day (finally) and I feel like I *should* take my little one outside to play, but that isn't happening...

I have to admit though, that I'm in such a good mood that I don't even care how sleepy I am.

You don't want some of our heat and humidity? I'd be glad to send it your way! I can't believe it's the end of October, feels like July here!

No thanks!
I LOVE the crisp fall weather...it's my favorite time of year, actually. I'm a Fall/Winter person, not so much a Summer gal.

BTW, there is NOTHING worse than pregnancy in humidity...YUK! I feel for ya'.

At some point I'm going to *have* to get dressed because it's nearly time to pick my son up from school...(Eek! I actually have to leave the house !)
