I hope maybe your H finally BEGINS to realize the level of pain and betrayal going to the birth would be. I dont care if she is giving birth to a prince... nothing that personal should ever be shared with OW, ever again!!! Getting pregnant by a MM- pssft- that is NOT anythign special or pesonal- animals get pregnant, right!!! YOU conceived your baby in the TRUTH- within your marriage-- YOU are a respectible woman and you earned the RIGHT to BE THE ONLY ONE WHO gets this type of personal love and support from your H!This birth has NOTHING to do with your H before the baby comes out.... especially a man who is married and committed to recovery.
You, his wife are pregnant and facing an OW "robbing" such a special first-time experience w/your H... My heart absolutely aches for you having to deal with this during a time that is SUPPOSED to be for YOU AND H ONLY!!!!! However, do NOT let these cicumstances take all the joy out of you and your baby/pregnancy.... this time is so precious and you may never come again.. YOU BE happy NO MATTER what is going on aroud you.
delivery of child is EXTREMELY personal - not something that an xMM and OW have any right or business sharing- child conceived together or not! Yes, for me-- OH MY-- that would be the most utter lack of respect-and DEAL BREAKER!!!!!! That would be absolutley pitiful to put your pregnant wife through.. eye-yey-eye my blood would be boilin' if it wasn't Christmas, lady! LOL!
The experience of watching his child be born is something he has to forfeit- this is an abnormal and not so beautiful situation for most involved. Your H does not even have the right to see her in such a personal situation, period! The baby, nor your H will NEVER miss anything but the first few seconds of life- "its for the baby" excuse is lame.
take care- I think it is WONDERFUL that H has seen enough lite to DROP the insane and sick idea of watching this woman give birth... ! SO relieved for you honey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The more calm, but firm you are, the more this OW will begin to drive H more and more away from any thoughts of being anywhere near her sorry [censored]... [ December 25, 2004, 07:58 AM: Message edited by: giovanna123 ]

Lynn, now hopefully everyone is sitting down at there computer.........but I agree with you with almost every single word you said in that post. How very true. And yes, even the custodial parent can not dicate to the other on when it comes to things and vise a versa. And as I stated in another thread/post.........things could be a lot worse on both ends.

NTMO !! I would imagine some are falling off their chairs, with you and I agreeing!!!
I so agree that this isn't the worse thing that can happen. I have lived for 18 years dealing with an ow/oc scenario. It was painfull, but in the past. We have had alot worse things happen, family deaths by accident, cancer, etc. Life can be tough.
The oc will be to the marriage, what they chose it to be. Want a step child in the house? Then you choose contact. Don't want a step around? Then choose no contact. Really, after all the dust settles, it is the choice of the couple. Made for what is best for them, their children and their family. Then you move on. Live life. Enjoy your family and friends. Don't waste precious moments on regret. It is a waste of time.
We will be done with cs this year. Done. Over. Complete. It went by fast! So don't waste those years raising your family and being sad. Soon the kids are off driving, college, etc. Life is to short. Live it the way you choose and let noone else dictate what you do.
