Since some of you had a hard time answering my other question [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] I will make this one really easy:
What's your favorite comfort food? [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Or, if that is too hard for you...what's your all time favorite candy/ice cream?

(thanks trying to 4give for the idea, your post on "WANTING CHOCOLATE" made me think of this)

------------------
Cat
catfrommb@yahoo.com

Well, nowadays my favourite comfort food seems to be no food at all. I'm on the "betrayed husbands magnificent diet" And it works too. 15-20% weight gone in 3 months. I'm half the man I used to be ;-)

Ok...I'm from the South, so anyone not from the deep south will not appreciate this.
Here goes:
Cornbread and milk. And I mean REAL cornbread. The buttermilk kind. No sugar added. YUM!!!! When I am depressed, I make a pan of cornbread in a iron skillet. While it's still hot I crumble it in a bowl and pour milk over it. Nothing better in the world. At least to me. I put my recipes for biscuits and cornbread (Southern style) under my post for "The worst day of my life". I had someone ask for the recipe. Just in case you want it.
[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
------------------
Blessed be.
****************
Keridwen
Keridwen_7@yahoo.com

Ever thought about losing a few pounds just in time for the bakini season? Tried every diet out there and still can't lose weight? Just plain old tired of looking at those love handles in the mirror?
Have I got a diet for you.... The New Age/didn't forsake all others infidelity diet. Just what you weren't looking for in weight control.
Here are the testimonials...
I feel lousy, but boy do I look great.
"Never realized that abstaining from food could be this easy. Maybe I need more traumatic events in my life to lose a few more inches...Bring it On. Not!!"
Ok, I'm being silly. I lost 30 pounds over the summer, and boy did I get the compliments when I went back to work. Very few people knew the real reason as to my sudden loss. I'm dieting now for the right reasons.
Comfort food? Reeses Peanut butter cups. A morning cup of coffee.

I'm with Scan, Tulip, and Beth. I'm down 31 lbs and still going!
Food doesn't even really sound good to me. (Thanks Bill) [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Anyway, I would have to say that as far as sweets go, Reeses would be my first choice and Seafood, Mexican food, and Pizza are my favorites.
Thanks GOD I am not turning to them for comfort though! I've got about 10 lbs until my size 5's fit...then LOOK OUT! LOL

In the a.m.:
Cup o' coffee and a smoke (gross huh?) don't even try to have a conversation with me until I've had one of each - not quite but I am of much better temperment if satisfied.
Anytime:
Laura Secord Easter cream eggs, chocolate covered almonds, egg rolls, Turtles, Bailey's and Milk [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com], Count Chocula cereal- my slogan: "they aren't just for breakfast anymore"
Cheers,
Lisa

I'm on the infidelity diet plan also. 25 pounds and still going. I'm shooting for the anorexic look now! When I do eat, it is vegetables. Haven't had meat in 3 weeks (also fasting for lent). Not missing it at all - just might become a vegetarian.
For someone that was raised in a candy store (literally, I worked in my grandparents candy store from the time I was 5 yrs. old), I sure have not had an appetite for anything sweet lately.
But my favorite has always been ice cream. Just a good old fashioned hot fudge sundae with fresh strawberries.
