GodlyMan:
Unfortunately for you, she's engaging in classic "fence sitting" behavior. When she "recommits" to you, she means it. And then 24 hours later the addiction kicks in, and she's back for her OM high. I actually found this behavior so inconsistant that it was funny---until I'd realize "hey, this is MY marriage."
If you can get into counseling with Steve or Jenn, they'll figure out a way to talk with your wife. They'll do their best to educate her on what an affair is and how it's inconsistant with her "morals." I remember the first session my wife had with Steve: it was at 5 pm. Afterwards, she slept 15 hours---and it looked as if someone had physically beat her up.
You, on the other hand, should NOT educate your wife. Your job is mustering up the best Plan A you can do. You're doing good too---the better you do, the more conflicted she'll be.

That's what I am hoping to do... make her as conflicted as I can. I should mention that in the emails I read, she got into an argument with him about some "other girls" he has been talking to. Looks like he is finding a replacement already.
On one hand, that is a good thing. She'll hate him and come back. But the bad thing is that she will not have chosen me. Something I was hoping she would do =(

Hi, GM! Good to hear an update from you. I know you don't feel comfortable that this thread has gotten so long.... but you know?? I think this thread is a perfect example of the roller coaster, and that's why it has so much interest.
Keep on with your Plan A. It will work. Keep doing it. YOu have her attention, and if OM keeps LB'ing, you will be her Harbor in the storm. Be strong. Be consistent, regardless of her reactions and behavior.
Give us an update if anything has changed. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
------------------
Faith1
"Then Jesus answered, 'Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.'"
Matt 15:28
