I just have to say that after reading all the posts, it sounds like you're holding up pretty well, and that I wish you'd be around in about 6 years when my oldest hits 13.
I have three boys, and although I had three brothers, I was pretty much out of the house when they were in their teenage years.
When are we supposed to find that time as parents to get a handle on each age? By the time we figure it out (if we ever figure it out) they are onto a new age and a new stage.....
And I do agree that parents needs breaks from kids too. For sanity purposes. K

GiiC,
I think that's why people used to have, like, 9 kids. Once they figured it out, they wanted to take advantage of it.
Part of the humor of life. When you're a grandparent you get to laugh like heck. Tell your kids you hope theirs turn out just as good as they did....
Jeffers
P.S. This place helps me alot. Also, I think I'm normally such a joyful person I've got to be really depressed before I look even slightly abnormal.
[ February 05, 2002: Message edited by: jeffers ]
