ML never answered my questions about where religious training was received so I guess it's safe to assume that it was primarily self-taught with help from a local minister and from television with Jerry Falwell and Jimmy Swaggert. That would explain the self-righteous attitude...

I have learned through various Bible courses and research over the years. One book that really opened my eyes was Evidence that Demands a Verdict by Josh McDowell. Your assertion that one needs to go to "seminary" to learn the Bible is not true - if that were true, then no one could know the Bible. And while I don't call myself an expert, I know enough to recognize error when I see it. <p>Sorry my attitude seemed "self righteous" to you, but perhaps you should take a look in the mirror before you sling that accusation around, especially with the rampant PERSONAL attacks you have made against me on this thread.
