hi dhj, thanks sherrilynn for bringing this back up.
There are many of us on here that are 'success stories', all in different stages. Personally I feel there are many ways to interpret this....I think anyone that can grow through this challenge is a success whether the marriage lasts or not!
My h is healing, he is getting better, and with faith and love, he will stay that way! It has not been easy, but it happened, so we deal with it and learn. It takes so much time, effort and determination, but it is worth it. There are frustrations along the way, and you will see many of us come here to vent those irritations and ask for help. That should not be interpretted as a failure or a big setback, but merely as a snag on an old dead tree.
I think most of us here are success stories in one way or another. One may not be in the marriage anymore, but may be very strong and independent. Or one may become more spiritual as a result. Never the less, we are here to share the success with each other!

Hi dhj,
A working success story here...
I have been coming to this site for about a month or so and had most of the worst behind me before I got here, BUT the work my H and I have done with the information on this site is just incredible. It has made a big difference.
I thought for sure that this year's anniversary would be horrible (a reliving of discovery from our 7th anniversary), but to my surprise and joy it was the best we have had because we have started to heal. And this is due to my H's continued work on our problems, my drive to find a solution we could both live with, etc.
Keep working at it!! It works!!
Hugz and prayers,
Thoughtful
