Hi Sing honey!
Yep .. air-popper made a mess, but we had so much fun. Still picking up kernels this morning.
10 .. OMG, not a baby anymore.
I'm really glad to hear STBX is helping out with the van. Sing, with kids you have to have a reliable vehicle, it's a MUST! I just despise car problems.
The subbing sounds good, but won't that take time away from studying?
Jo

Alberta, I left you a clue, curling... Yeah, I'm in Calgary too. I can't believe how warm it was this afternoon! We didn't even need our hats and mitts when we were out walking this afternoon. I'm enjoying my mom's visit and am now headed off to bed because we're going to the 8:30am curling draw tomorrow.

Let's see.......
Took two Daughters shopping Saturday...no fights!!! Purchased birthday clothes for oldest who's birthday is the 19th (can't wear them til her birthday) They both thanked me.
Had pizza with daughters and mom Saturday night.
Talked with son Sunday night. (He lives with his dad)
Talked with HS friend that haven't had time to get with since being home.
Sent e mail to WH about how did the demise of our marriage happen....he hasn't answered yet, hope he is really thinking about his answers.
I love my job and work with some really neat kids.
I guess I have alot of good things in my life. I've chosen not to let WH have control over my life or what I am doing in my life.
Just wanted to share as I haven't posted much of my own lately, don't always think to share the good stuff (Good thread Katie). But am always ready to share the bad so that we can be validated as not such a bad person.
Good things are happening and will continue if I keep a positive outlook!!
Dawn

Yes Jo,
Where we are is Albuquerque. In October they host a huge balloon fiesta. We are already making plans for this fall, now that family lives here.
I'm thinking of buying hot air balloon accessories for GS's room and our S's house.
Estes

My Amanda had her 4 year old check-up today. She was a preemie, so it is always nice to hear that she is hitting all the developmental marks and is on the growth charts (low end, but on them).
I mentioned to the doc that I'm getting into a cycle with my migraines again, and he gave me a nice big RX for vicodin. Usually I have to tear up to get a tylenol 3 or two, so this was a pleasant suprize.
To sum it up, my kid is growning, and I have drugs.
