Another Albertan here, from Calgary. And I've never been to Jersey, but one of my favourite author is Janet Evanovich who writes about Stephanie Plum, bounty hunter from Jersey. Hmmm, another coincidence?

I'm from Forked River. That's FORK-ED River to all of you outside of NJ!
I prefer Long Beach Island to Seaside. More of a family type atmosphere. Seaside has become more of an older teen/very young adult hangout these past few years.

OK, how about EJ's? Man, that is the fastest air hockey table I have ever seen!!! That... and pool tables, buck a draft.
I took my sons down there a few times [of course they always found their way home] and we had the best time ever on the rides at both amusement piers.
The younger boy played the basketball hoop game, where the hoop is smaller than the ball [you know the one] and came back with a killer size tweety bird looking animal type thing.
We must have spent over $300 in one day, but came home with a trunkfull of stuffed animals, thanks to the claw machines.
We were going to go two weekends ago when we had the indian summer here, but, the forecast was for rain. Hey, there's still more weekends coming up!!!
Hey, what about that get together gig?
Zippy

Always,
You could have just said it's a meat market for the young. I was D second last time I was down there last year, so I didn't mind the scenery.[ wink, wink, say no more] Girls didn't look like that way back when, or else I was just too stoned.
If you get past the spiked purple hair and all, it's not that bad
