Pat,
Yes I do have an overwelming sadness. I finally told those at school yesterday of my situation as I was stalling on coming home.
I think that we (you and I) have a hard time moving on as we can't seem to get around the "if onlys", the "what ifs" we were always looking ahead to what our family life was and where it was going. Some how we can let go of the person our spouse(s)have become, however we are having a hard time letting go of what are perception of family is and what we wanted our(s) to be. I think that I can say that neither of us want our spouses back as the men they have become, but as the husband and fathers that they were. For me that is the hard part, if that makes any sense at all.
My WH just got here from his hotel and made coffe for us and is making pancakes for the kids, and I sit here typing to you, if I were to walk into the other room I would be a mess, that picture is what my life should be NOW!! Not leaning on my cyber friends for support through a horrible time in my life. He just asked if I wanted pancakes, I do love them so, never have been able to cook them!!
Have a good day with the younger ones!! Go to Knob State Park and hike one of the trails, there are some pretty short ones and they aren't to strenous, I'd be doing that if I was there, Hey I could go do that here. I think that is what I'll do tomorrow, have to sew daughters Easter dress today!!
Will Check in later, Dawn

Hey Dawn and Nina,
Thanks for the replies. I am still thinking about graduation and I don't know what to do about the money situation.
It was gorgeous here today...I did manage a walk outside and the kids got to play on the playground on base while I went Easter shopping at the commisary. That is the first time I have been there in months. Mandy has been doing the shopping there. It is difficult for me to go there as we were so active on base.
Dawn,
Do you know Doug Rayburgh (Sp?)--that is who the new wing commander will be. I need to email that to H--he didn't like him...and they should be about the same rank....he is now a Brig. Gen. I think I will send that to him as soon as I get off of here....should make his day!!!!
My friend and I are trying to think about a new business to start here. There is a new mall here that has been standing empty for quite a while---wouldn't it be fun to work for yourself doing something fun for a change????
Anyone have any good ideas? I liked the dress shop idea that was in Oprah this month--did anyone else see that?
We have thought about a tutoring place, breakfast/bagel/coffee shop, sporting goods store, education specialty shop, gathering place for teens--dance floor etc..
Last year we were going to make velcro handles for luggage--neat designs and materials--now it is being sold in airplane magazines---Just my luck--I come up with ideas and someone actually does it and makes a fortune.
How else can I support 4 growing, active kids and a mom who loves to travel? Anyone have any good ideas???
