Hi Jo,
I'd go for something with a positive message about your attitude and you, and let the others (which are darn clever!) go. Anything that refers to your X defines you as his victim. And you ARE, or WERE> But you're also a very strong and Resilient and compassionate woman with a great sense of humor.
The 7 letter license plate should define either your philosophy of life, or you (as the positive person you are) and not as the wife who was betrayed. Why advertise that to all the other drivers on the road?

Your ex doesn't deserve recognition or advertising on your plates. He ain't paying the insurance premiums, buying the gas or the tires. It's about you, and you are DA WOMAN.
Love,

So funny you should bring this up!
Wanna hear something disgusting?
First, some info: My FWH is a cop. Last OW (still says "just friends") is a Badge-Bimbo divorcee who LOVES any man in uniform. He refused to see her for what she really is....until she got a new license tag right after they broke off contact:
1094COP
1094 is a Miss. police code for "In Pursuit of". Is that not OBVIOUS?!? Even H thought so.
Sooooo, I couldn't resist getting a beautiful tag for the front of my new Maxima that says:
1095COP
1095 is a Miss. code for "In Possession Of"!
Love it!!!
at peace
[ May 02, 2002: Message edited by: at peace ]

Wrungout,
I like "MOVINON", now I have so many good ones to chose from. Thanks!
Faith,
If I use "RESILNT", I think I will use a "Z" ... "REZILNT" ... it looks cool. You're the best!
Jo

I like these kind ALOT.
I did send the request form in, I decided on "RESILNT", 2nd choice is "EQUESTRN", and 3rd choice is "FREEDOM".
BTW: I'd like to say your responses and support over on P/C is very appreciated and needed. You have so much to offer everyone, BTDT. Thank you for being here.
Lv, Jo
[ May 04, 2002: Message edited by: Resilient ]

My dearest Bellevue,
You are so right. I thought alot about what you said. I certainly don't want ex or anyone else to think I'm bitter or continuing to live this and not making every effort to let go of the hurt.
So, as you can see in the above post to BTDT, I have decided on a positive moniker.
Thank you for being my friend, Bellevue. I value your help so much.
Love, Jo

Gawd At Peace,
That is such a funny story. Good for you! I'm glad you didn't stand down.
Sometimes I simply do not get the idea an OW wants to own (yes, as in OWN) or chases someone's else's husband. Are there not enough available males running around?
I think a good percentage of these OW intentionally try to compete with the wife for their husband. And I think they do it with malice toward the wife! WHAT IS THAT??? At least that's my impression from my experience of the OW that have ravaged and invaded my marriage and some of them from the stories on this board. Makes me very very ashamed to be a member of the female species at times.
Lv, Jo

OK Gang,
So does that mean that you think "XWS LOSS" is not positive? It's not like she lost the car to me in the settlement. I bought it a few months before the D as a present to myself. I meant the plate as in she lost out on me giving up on the M. Remember, this was and is the new and improved Medic.
I still remember the last day I saw her in the dental office last January 2001. She comes in the operatory and asks where the car keys are. "WHY"? I want to drive the Trans Am around the block. "Oh,... um...[shaking head up and down] "NO"!!! I didn't have the vanity plate at that time. If she could only see it now.
