You did the right thing...exposure to "sunlight" is what kills that FUNGUS called affairs. No more secrecy and that false "Bridges of Madison County" luster falls to the floor QUICKLY!

I was in same situation with my FWW. I made promise, with conditions, that I wouldn't contact OM, etc. She broke conditions so I was free to act and did so.

I think I would view your situation as the same.

Well, batten down the hatches and get ready for the storm. Your husband will be FURIOUS. That is how they all are. Then he will probably tell you that there is no hope for your marriage now. That is what they all say.

But you did the best thing to preserve your marriage and end the affair.
