Hi, i am new here but have been all over this site the past two weeks. Hope somone can give me more advise. My story is that after 16 years of marriage my wife had an afair. I had confronted her and she admitted to it. This was back in Oct. 2001 although the afair is over she also had shortly afterwards i found out through emails as i also learned of her afair. My wife has been seeing another male that she says is only a friend.IAlthough she says there has been no sex i wonder. I have asked my wife not to see this person but she refuses. My wife says that through our marriage she feels that we never really connected with each other. I feel diffrently. My wife and i have been married for 16 years and have 3 small children. My wife has told me that she is not in love with me anymore. I over the past two months have said some real mean things to her. Most of i wished i had never said .My wife and went to mediation and the mediator sugested that we try what is called nesting. This is where one parent stays in the house with the children for a few days then the other parent comes and the other leaves. This i am told is mainly for the children. I think this is bs myself although i was willing to try. It has been a few days and i am writing this from my house where i am tonight with my children. The bottom line is i still love my wife very much and would love for things to work. I need some solid advise. Thanks, NickC
