Hi Everyone,
I took a big step a few days ago. I did something I really never thought I would do again. I returned my wedding ring to it's rightful place...my finger. Wife had already put hers back on over a week ago.
Those of you who know me better than some will understand what a huge step this was for me. But the bottom line has always been that I love my wife very much. She has been trying really hard to show her love for me, and her commitment to recovering from this past year.
I do not know if she posts here any more, but I have seen her reading from time to time.
SJ, if you read this, I just want you to know that I love you and am very proud of you for fighting for your marriage. Do not get discouraged. I have noticed your efforts and love you even more for those efforts.
I love you SJ. And, thanks Everyone.
jd

Hi JD and Sjd Macs,
I got goose bumps just reading this. U know this is what we like to hear. Ok U 2 have met an EN of mine. Ooops that's my H's job.
Oh well, he is flying international right now so I think it is ok for U 2 to just make me feel soooo happy.
I am not the jealous type. In fact when I hear others are doing good, it makes me very happy. In this case, you have made my heart sing (better that than my voice - LOL!! ).
Hugz to you both. It has been a long road but there sounds like there is much happiness up ahead.
JD, does this mean that you book will have a happy ending? Otherwise we should turn it into a joke book because..... well.... some of us have a lot of funny things that happened in our lives!
L.

Jdmac1,

How's it going old buddy! Sounds to me that everything is going your way. I am so glad to hear it. You have put lots of work into this. There is a lot more work to do.

Keep it between the lines and keep going forward ole friend. I just have a feeling that everything is going to work out for the best.

Best wishes and regards

RN

P.S. Don't be a stranger, I do post in the D/D forum. I'm doing OK. It's harder than I thought it would be but in the same sentence I have to say that is a lot of ways it is easier for me.
Thank you for all your support!

Thats great news JD. Good to hear about the wedding ring, I didn't wear mine for over a year (I gained weight and it didn't fit) and after d-day I had it resized and boy it felt good to put it on again funny how such a little thing makes such a big difference in how ya feel.

Keep up the good work, but remember you may be over the mountain but its not going to be all down hill from hear.

Thanks Everyone,

The support I/we have found here never ceases to amaze me. This is a great place with a great group of people.

By the Grace of God and a lot of major work I know our marriage can and will be great again.

Orchid,

The book deal, it would appear, will not happen. I had, basically, been given a year to put it all together. Needless to say, I completely lost interest in doing it. Were I to regain that interest in the near future I do not believe there is time to get it done. Plus I believe it would be an LBer in the end.

Thanks for the wonderful support over this past year EVERYONE.

jd
