I have never been to a porn site, yet I receive between 3 & 5 unsolicted emails from porn sites each day. They have extremly vulgar subject lines. I do have them blocked...but I still have to their subject line before I delete them and they really make me feel uncomfortable. Does anyone else have this problem...and do you have any suggestions on why this happens and how to stop it from continuing to happen?

I woulod think it would be caused by visiting the sites, that is actually registering in some way, like paying and the like. I have never recieved the first one. Can you be sure no one else has used your computer? This cam up in my support group & although no one wanted to say for sure, because I htink everyone did not want to unduly worry or challenge the woman asking about this - as her H had problems with Porn & had said he had quite -- A couple people that would know more than I on this, seemed very reluctant to commnet one way or the other -- I would have thought they would tend to want to dispell false fears! This person seemed to indicate it was an AOL issue--?? Not a lot of help - I am curious myself! I would think not, but perhaps possible - how would they get your address -- random thing? Peace, <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" /> HH

Thanks for your response. By the way, my email account is a hotmail account. No one uses my computer but me..I was wondering if visiting this site (Marriage Builders) my information is captured and used. I don't know how this works but it's really upsetting. You would not believe the subject lines ... they are so vulgar and graphic..and I'm not a prude.

ashirley I can tell you one thing HOTMAIL and MSN Email are the absolute WORST for spam email. It doesn't mean that you went to any porn sites or not or someone did on your PC they just get hammered with that spam and cannot seem to filter it. I used to have MSN and my W had hotmail and they both got tons of that crap. Not only porn but get out debt - lose weight - refinance your home - you name it. My W had some many email address blocked she couldn't block any more. I went to yahoo mail and my W went to fastmail. Both are awesome. I maybe get one spam a week that goes into the bulk email folder and that has NEVER been a porn email. My W also gets no spam. It's pretty easy to change and both of those are free services. good luck.

Drummer kid, Thanks for your response. I thought that perhaps getting all of those vulgar spams was because I came to this site. I think I'll change email service providers! Thanks, AS
