No, I'm not off chasing girl(s), but I had kind of been planning to go hiking on 11/22 for a little while now. Not too many more days it'll be possible! Of course, that's if the weather is okay - if not, I'd be more than glad to head over there.

Hey JR,

It's suppose to be 30 - 40ish this weekend. R U trying to stand us up again!??!?!

If you do so, we will start to draw pictures of what you look like on the table - LOL!!!

So look for the group etching out a face on the table.

Hmmm, Orchid makes a good point

However, don't forget that I grew up in conditions where I had to walk to school through driving snow and windchills of -40!

Definitely next time, you guys are great for organizing this stuff, you know!

Hey, if you guys want to try something a little more "strenuous", I'd be glad to lead a hike some time... Could go from one end of a nice leisurely walk along the coast, stopping off for oysters on the way back, to one of the state's 14,000 footers!! It's gotten to the point where I've got experience with both ends - and everything in between!

Be carefull what you ask for ... we might take the offer . I know some of us could not make it, do you have things to do for them ?.

I heard about Dipsie trail (???) that everyone could do ... probably

Yeah, when my parents were visiting - holy cow, over a year ago now!! - I took 'em out to Muir Woods - very nice paved path through the big trees... other trails lead off into more of a "real hike", but we kept it simple - they're in their 70's after all, and enjoyed it. It's really busy there in the summer anyhow - now that it's cooling off, it may be less crowded. There's a cool English pub nearby, the Pelican Inn, I believe. There's also some good restaurants - I'm most familiar with stuff in Cotre Madera and vicinity. There's a lot of options, for sure...

Redhat, Orchid, et al. My friend is posting as "Solo" -- so you might want to pitch in, since you know her.

Well, I showed up and looked for you guys at the restaurants and the virtual bowling area. I finally gave up by noon. Oh well, I was looking forward to it. I needed some adult company that understood where I am sitting at the moment. I should have been reading the latest post. I missed the one telling me to e-mail SusanBT.

I got my final divorce papers today . I am officially not necessarily wanting to be a sole entity.

Hope you all had a great time... Maybe next time.

Oh dear! Next time make sure you get Redhat's and Orchid's cell phone numbers. I would have gotten terribly lost otherwise.

supermom,

Sorry that you missed us. It happened w/ LULU on the first get together. I guess I should not change my hair style. At noon it was only me, 2 D, KS41 & mr.KS41 plus their 2D. Everyone show up late as usual. We were there 'till 6PM talking with solo1.

I am sorry about your situation ... email orchid w/ your cell#. You should not wait 'till the next get together. I am actually thinking of skipping it for the month of Dec.

If you want, in my church we have support group, we meet every Tuesday night 7-9PM. Next month we are going to talk about Harley's basic concept. But the best part of it there is a small group 4-6 peoples meeting afterward for 1 hour. Email me for detail.
