I was looking for your last thread, but it seems to have evaporated.

How are you doing?

SiSF, SS:

I asked that the moderators remove the thread.

I've talked 2 cerri once so far, and gave her phone number 2 my W in hopes that she would call her. We'll see. I bet they'd hit it off, but she has 2 make the call first.

She left for work for a 2ple of days. I have a 2ple of "assignments" I need 2 do. Got started on one, but not the other, yet.

This all feels so strange. The realization that the fog is so "real" or seems so when you see it in action. Or inaction, perhaps is a better description. I sure learned you can't reason with it, though.

More later, when I level off a bit.

Understood.

Hope the time apart will help both of you in some way.

2Long,

I'm glad to see you posting. I was really worried about you when I saw your threads Mod-deleted from both this board and SYMC's board as well.

I'm sure Cerri gave you good advice and good assignments.

Keep the faith and keep in touch. Even if you only pop in (both places, mind you! ) to say "I'm still around."

Too many people here care about you and what is going on with you.

Wishing you the best.

ONE of the things that worries me, is that you have been doing this so long.

Sure you are better at it now, but two years is a long time to be working on it by yourself. I know she feels she was, but until NC, it doesn't really happen. Much of the real work can't begin until NC, but you have been expending energy all this time waiting for that, and - and just how much do you have left?

Very little, I'm afraid.

I'm at a point where I need 2 ask for NC NOW, and if she's unwilling 2 really go there (she's offered, but she wants 2 talk 2 HIM in PERSON 2 tell him that)... ...well, I'm just tired.

My apologies 2 all the newbies out there that I doled out advice 2. Advice that I couldn't implement in my own sitch. I've spent so much time avoiding conflict all this time that I've perpe2ated this "friendship" inadvertently.

You pest!

I just sent Penny an email describing my "condition."

I had just got off the phone with my W. Largely a 45minute teary convo, but it went pretty well. We've got so much crap 2 shed. She has agreed 2 NC "for now" and is thinking about calling Penny (Penny told me she'd like 2 speak with her herself). I am confident that Penny can help us help each other.

We've got a lot of work 2 do. I'm exhausted, and now I have 2 get ready 2 go 2 work.

best,

Thanks JL:

It's hard not feeling like an MB failure lately. mainly because I was such an opponent of plan B, in my case in particular, when now it looks like I could have saved myself a lot of pain by going there a year or so ago.

But we made REAL progress 2day. I don't know where that will lead regarding our M, but we should come out better people at some point. Nowhere 2 go but up, right?

Rocks? Thankfully, we don't have many! Those other guys keep getting bogged down in minutiae. We're looking at one right now, then it may be a month before we see another one! Time 2 make some serious tracks!

no "failure"...we're all learning right? so you just provided a great lesson for others here who are doing everything they can to avoid Plan B...

if you can prevent someone else's pain, or shorten it, or reduce it...then you are doing something amazing for another human being...

no failure in that...

best of luck to you...you are certainly in good hands now...awed

2long,

I personally get a lot from your posts.

As far as being a "failure" well we are all human after all. I wouldn't trust anyone who was too shiny and perfect. Give yourself a break about success vs. failure and focus on your journey.
