I remembered all my rules (from about 10 pages back) and we had a very good night.

Kimmy, sorry don't know what to do about your "problem". Had to laugh because I own a "Mr Pinky" which is probably just like Senor Poirple. H gave him to me as a "fun" birthday present. I got a "polite" birthday present as well so I could tell people what I got for my birthday without having to watch their eyes bug out.

I didn't mean to leave you out of the "boring music" category. It's usually just Bob and LINY, late at night.

And, what's up, RH? Are you resigning from Idiotville or resigning from building your m?

It was one of those good evenings where you drink enough to be relaxed but not so much that you wake up in the morning and think "OMG did I say that?????"

It was a party with my old workmates which is sometimes a bit uncomfortable for H (because he knows they all know) but quite a few people said to me how well we looked and how happy we looked.

A very good girl friend whispered to me that H looked 10 years younger than the last time she saw him.

So you see, Bob, life goes back to normal, it becomes enjoyable and fun again. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

Seriously, my kids are VERY well behaved when we're out. I'm one of those 'rents that believe that the only way kids learn to behave in public is to TAKE them in public from the time they are little bitty on.

Leo was a week old when I first took him shopping with me at TRU (toys R us). I had him in the cart and a lady stopped me and asked which aisle they had babies like him on b/c she wanted one just like him (as if! they broke the mold after that kid...God said that the world wouldn't be able to handle two such wonderful kids - his dimples are from where God held his face in His hand and said, "You are just SOOO damn cute")....All my kids have been out to eat and to movies with us from the time they were infants on....

GAWD, I love my babies.....can't tell, huh?

Babies. Mine were wonderful.

When my DD was 4 and son was 6, I had a friend over who had children same age as them. One of her children was eating a muffin and then smeared it all over a glass door.

When they were gone DD said "that girl was so messy. I didn't like it." or something like that in 4 year old speak.
