Weaver, you live in the yooh peah and you don't have a snowblower? What gives?

I'd say if you didn't need a snowblower last year, you won't need one this year.

Let me B.S. my way into a deeper hole...

Warmer-than-normal water temperatures on Lake Superior can give heavier lake effect snow, and can cause that snow to occur closer to the shoreline.

The outlook for your area is for winter to be drier than usual, but because lake effect snow is fluffier than normal snow ("fluffy" being a technical term meaning fluffy) it doesn't have as much influence on that outlook as you might think.

That means you can have a drier-than-usual winter and still have lots of light lake effect snow to shovel.

It isn't likely to be worse than last year...

So, I'm looking, but it's REAL slow going... I have to wake up every day and be thankful for what I DO have. Spend most of my day searching, calling and networking. It's tough but necessary.

For example...

I'm thankful that I don't have to worry about any snow this winter!

LMAO over that one, whatever it means

Yes, I have a snowblower, but I was wondering if a snowplow, meaning bringing in the heavy artilery was in order. Remember that one winter not too long ago when the National Guard had to come in and plow the town out?????

KY, I heard the same thing as you, mucho mucho snow.

Hey Robbie - get a job! I was looking into home-based medical transcriptionist, but finally decided it would be just waaaaay too much work.

But hey if you have fast fingers, they pay 7 cents a line, so figure that one out. But you have to be able to understand foreign doctors barking into a tape recorder!

Sheesh - glad I live in Southern California. Here the snow stays where it is supposed to stay - in the mountains.

Morning Idiots. Haven't checked in on MB for at least 2 days. I think it is my all time record. Is this a good thing?

Have stacks to do. Moving house at beginning of Dec. This one is tainted after the A. So a new start beckons (just me and the kids).

Do you know, if someone had told me 12 months ago, what 2004 held in store for me I would have pee'd my pants laughing at their ridiculous imagination. Thank God we can't see into the future. Wouldn't life just be so scary. Have a good night's sleep folks. I'm just starting my day. TT

Hey RIF - How are things in Afghanistan? Hope things are going well.

Brown - I think you and LINY will do okay. He does seem to love you, but is just an idiot. Luckily you have all of us idiots giving you advice.

Starz - Hope that I didn't see you on TV tonight being rescued from the flooding water.

Hi Believer - Just gearing up for another day at the office... Sometimes it seems like "Groundhog Day"... But hey, free clothes, free food, free place to sleep... what more could you ask for?

Hey Brown & LINY - How are you guys doing? You two play nice or Mr. Mayor's going put you both in the time-out corner!

Hi WO - Thanks for the hug!

Hey TT - Better keep up... two days is a long time to stay away from Idiotville...

Anybody seen Bob lately?

Hi Brown !!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the hug. Its surprising that when special people {{hug}} me on here I actually feel HUGGED !
Needed that this morning. Encountered a WIERD PATHETIC trigger y'day. Stayed in a NICE hotel near heathrow airport last night and when I walked in the room my hear sank through my boots.

I just thought of Squid going to a hotel room with the sole intention of taking of her clothes and having sex with OM. I mean it wasn't THIS hotel, theirs was a sleazy forty dollar a night motel with pubic hairs on the soap, but it still stung. Thats my first pathetic trigger since d-day.

Still, over with now ! I beter get OK with Hotel rooms FAST - in my job I spend a lot of time in them !!!!!!!

Back home now thank goodness. SO much work to do - our business is in the toilet and we need a miraculous Q4 - I guess its a sign of recovery that I'm starting to care again about work ! LOL !

* Hey Jen ! * waves *

Yep, there is sure some minefields for different folks on this board.
Lately I think Squid & Me are doing SOOO well right now I don't have the right to offer a comment to some posters who are in such deep trouble.

All I know is what worked for US and I remember being some pretty deep doodoo not so very long ago too.

Ah me ! Squid's feeling bad that I'm treating her so lovingly, she says. She doesn;t deserve to be treated nicely when she hurt me so dreadfully (her words).

I replied " well I can be mean if you want !" and smiled, but she was a little misty.

I explained that YES she hurt me very badly and I was still not sure I could ever recover from it but I want with all my heart to TRY to. And that I love her very much.

She hugged me and was quiet for the rest of the evening. Still is this morning in fact.

She needs to feel bad about the A for a while - maybe I need her to feel bad too, but its horrible to watch and I hope its over soon. Right now she can't imagine ever feeling worthy again.

Soz, this wasn't a very idiotville post was it?
