I saw that this morning on YahooNews. My kids and I love the dol-phish (that's dolphin the way my 4 year old used to say it).

Makos here. We average at least 1 shark bite by makos on the Tx coast per year. Last summer a boy a few towns up the coast got bit. He was carrying a bait bucket of chum to his dad while wading and the shark bit his arm and shoulder. ((((shudder))))

Wow! Thanks for the welcome! I have noticed one thing, I need to become addicted to this thread to stay caught up. LoL!
So we have a Mayor and a Wine Taster?
I am looking in the classifieds for a job. What openings are there? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />
You guys seem to be having fun over here!

That's what we're for Dani. Fun and support tempered with a little tongue in cheek (that was for Jelly).

Settly down ST.

What do you like to do? I'm crunchy, granola, nursey, mommy type person...oh and I'm ever so slightly a tart....(giggle)

Dealan-de,
Well I am the mommy, co-sleep, attachment parenting, nursie type too! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> What do I like? (BTW, I think that part of this whole process is re-descovering that again. I lost myself to my WH)
I love MY horses (and no, OW will never be able to take care of horses, she has no idea!)
I enjoy crafts, quilting, stained glass etc.
and taking care of my kids! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

My ears are burning I heard Wet nurse, and tongue and cheek. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

Dani- how's it going? You can not be town drunk, that is me. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> I'm also the queen.

Welcome, feel free to be as idiotic as you want, we won't even notice. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Kimmy, <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

DanigirlinVA: Welcome to Idiotville, Robby is Mayor.
If you read on page one that has most everyone's jobs. Starz is the town sniper. She once went to the woods with one bullet and brought home one deer (impressive). I forget the other jobs.

Also, I think there was a rule that new town members had to list three idiotic things they had done to become a member.

Starz: I saw your reply. Thanks. Hopefully, tonight I'll get to check that out.

YL: You are correct in that you miss a few days and it's a real pain catching up. BTW, I'm not sure what you meant about me rebuilding? (I guess I have to go back and reread to figure that one out.)

Too much work, not enough time for Idiotville. ((sigh))

{{{{{hugs to all}}}}}

How about starting a Polo Club in Idiotville? You could be our captain & delegate??

Go to the USPA and get us signed up!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

They serve food at Polo matches right? Jelly won't miss a single one!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

Speaking of food, what's for dinner?

Sporting event and food, that sounds like a perfect date for me.

I'm very happy. I've had a SMASHING couple of days. Dr Harley himself would smile.

I wish I could splash a bit of it on my friends in here.

<img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

Off for a run now. In the dark, damp English late Autumn. BRRRR !

Polo is done in speedos. Not on horses.

Horses are for riding barebad (with a pad).

I'm making shrimp gumbo for supper. Yum. Treated myself to a "me" day. Haircut, nails, pedicure, etc.

KY - I am pretty sure that eating chocolate is a talent. Especially if you can do it without gaining weight.

See you guys a little later. I hope you're all not leaving yet for Thanksgiving - <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" />

Starz would you believe in all my 28 years I have never had a pedi, or a manicure. Sad!!

Pizza sounds good Robby, but we just had it Sunday. It was lousy too.

I'm cooking easy all week, because I'm so darn busy. I think it will be chicken fingers and fries. My kids will love it.

Congrats, bob, read your thread, amazing progress. I think I'll have a drink or 10 in your honor tonight. Cheers

Jelly, I'm sure you saw this already...

Chocolate: the new cough sweet

Chocolate could be used to stop persistent coughs and may even lead to more effective medicines, say scientists.

Cocoa contains a derivative called theobromine which was found to be more effective in stopping persistent coughs than the leading medicine codeine.

It produces fewer side effects than conventional treatment and will not leave people drowsy, say scientists

Imperial College London. Their study, which also involved London's Royal Brompton Hospital and St Bartholomew's Hospital, saw ten healthy volunteers given theobromine, a placebo or codeine before exposing them to a substance called capsaicin that causes coughing.

The concentration of capsaicin needed to induce coughing in those given theobromine was nearly a third higher compared with the group receiving a placebo.

When given codeine, the group only needed marginally higher levels of capsaicin.

'Coughing is a medical condition which affects most people at some point in their lives,' said Prof Peter Barnes, whose research is published in FASEB online journal.

'This discovery could be a huge step forward.'

I just went out to wash my windows, I can't believe the water didn't freeze, it is so cold out, but must be above 32. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> Yes, with all my other quirks, I wash my windows once a week, I like things to be clean, what can I say.

Did I mention how cold it was out there, I think I'm coming down with a Cough. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />
