Of course I thought of all of you when I planned this so my pc will be the last thing to go. Jelly, I didn't even really know you.....but you founded this place, and it keeps me lighthearted....thank you so much, and I wish the best for you and your family. L.I.T: Thread kill? Starz and I have a running joke, it's who can kill this thread (she's the more accurate shooter), but everytime, well maybe not everytime, but quite often there for awhile, one of us would come on and "kill the thread" and then the other would say something like "you didn't kill the thread I did." Well, they gave the sharp shooters job to Starz so you figure it out. We still like to joke about it.
Mr. Mayor: Maybe you could have your press secretary make the announcement? Ahhh, nevermind. Notice how I left my signature in the message after my request. What an idiot! *(me that is)*

Evening, Idiotville--
Night shift reporting for duty. How is everyone tonight?? I had a wonderful day off: a great yoga workout, and chicken caesar salad lunch, and meetings (I ran into a friend!), and decorating for the holidays, and children, and puppies. It was GREAT. I may SMELL a little gamey, but it was a very good day.
Tonight, I had a friend call me who is an emotional vampire (you know, sucking the life out of you), so I'm feeling a little like I'm stuck alone on a mountain in the Rockies. It's a clear, cold night (teens and lower)--the moon is waning--and I can honestly say that tonight is a night that I wish I was with someone rather than alone.

Howdy, RIF! Hey, it's good to hear from you! How's the desert? Here in the high desert of the Rockies, it's a typical COLD night. It's one of those nights that's so cold and clear, you can feel your breath in your lungs! I love that! Did you notice anything funny? The night shift (You, Bob, KiwiJ, etc.) are all on the other side of the globe! It looks like I'm the only nightowl on MB who's from the U.S.! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> There's not much to report here. My dog is sleeping at my feet, and my cat snores. I started holiday decorating today, and that always lifts my holiday spirits and gets me in the mood (for the HOLIDAYS! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="images/icons/blush.gif" /> ). I had corned beef hash for dinner. Geez, my life is a SNOOZE! CJ P.S. My idiot thing for the day was a great one: I set the alarm for the right time in the a.m., but forgot to turn it on! OY, the life of a nightowl for me!

Hey CJ - Yeah, not many on the other side of the pond are up this late! I haven't seen Bob or AW or KiwiJ today... they must be busy.
It hasn't gotten too cold here yet... low's at night in the mid 30's, highs are still in the mid 60's...

Oh, that sounds so lovely and temperate! Here in the Rockies, we had snow over the weekend (I mean SNOW!), so it melts just a little during the day and then we can skate on it after sunset. In the shade of the big trees, etc. the snow doesn't melt AT ALL, so some spots are slush, some are slick ice, and some are piled snow! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> So, DARN! Where is everybody?? Okay, I give AW a free pass since she's pg. In my first month or so, I felt EXHAUSTED, so maybe she's day-napping--although if I know her she's watching a sporting event unknown here in the U.S.--something like "Kangaroo hurling" or "Pigmy jumping". <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" /> How many more days now until R&R?? LOL start learning it now <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> well pretty much ok, got a call from the office of the Defence Minister a little while ago to say there may be news report tonight or tomorrow that says contact has been lost with Aussies team in Iraq, they are not sure if it will run or not, of course I went all shakey, <img border="0" alt="[Teary]" title="" src="graemlins/teary.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[Teary]" title="" src="graemlins/teary.gif" /> but not to worry, I was told, it was a temp equipment malfuncion for 12 hours & all is ok, they just wanted to let all the NOK know asap. AW, sounds like you are having what I liked to call the pregnancy "stupids". It is the only time in life you have an excuse to be an idiot! Take advantage of it you can blame everything you do on it.
