Hey GC - I think the army is to PC nowadays... we got a letter when we first got here about not calling the locals "hajies"... the term haji is used by the locals to describe someone who's been to Mecca... and just about everyone here called the locals by that name... but in our efforts to be Politically Correct, we now call them "Local Nationals".... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

Interesting article. I'm doing volunteer work with the casualties from Fallujah, and have heard tons of similar stories.
I just hope we get rid of the terrorists somehow.

Faithful follower -
I work as a project manager in the facilities dept. at a hospital.
After the Fallujah battle, lots of casualties came, so I went over and volunteered in ICU and the surgery floor.
I have no talent in medical things, so mainly I answer the phone, take people to x-ray, go to the pharmacy, the lab, empty bed pans, help pass out meals, get water, blankets - anything I can do so that the staff can take care of the patients. It isn't glamorous, but so rewarding.
