FF - I am so sorry for you and your family. I realize what a strain such illnesses put on a family. I will certainly pray for all of you.

Sorry, Idiotville - have been out all morning running errands and such. Need to buy a new Christmas tree. No Christmas spirit whatsoever. Go figure.

I keep hoping that putting up the tree will have an effect on IB. He loves our Christmas tree (it is just about the whole story of our married life. All the ornaments have special meaning in our lives with our children. I'm hoping it will make him think of all that he will miss.) Nothing else seems to be working. He is acting really strange today. Probably just lying (badly). That I am used to, but he also seems confused, kind of, There is more news I have to tell but I think I will wait till next week. I think things are getting much, much worse.

I am so busy - this weekend is some of my only free time, so I need to go now and decorate and stuff. See you guys in a little while.

checking in after being in the ER for over 5 hours. The good news is DS does not have pnuemonia! Woo hoo! He has some virus which has left him dehydrated and feeling lousy, but they sent us home after IV fluids. He just needs time to get over it. Now to figure out what we are going to do to keep him healthy.

Thanks so much everyone for your prayers, we certainly felt them today. Having a child like this (he is 6)adds to the chaos in our lives. He is both the biggest joy of my life and the biggest challenge.

Hugs to you all.

Doing just fine. How are you feeling? Get that liver down yet?

I'm real happy because I now have a fish pond in my backyard. I have always wanted one, and my boys came over today and put one in, complete with water plants, fish, lights, and a fountain. It's an early Christmas present I guess.

Actually, it is a good size pond. I plan to put koi in it later, after I practice with goldfish. We have possums and raccoons here, and I'm worried about my fish getting eaten. If it happens, at least it won't be an expensive fish.

Are you feeling any better or still real yucky?

Hi RIF

feeling pretty good, washing, cleaning, ironing apart.... its ok .

hey if you want catfish we have WAAAY too many in the Eastern river systems and lakes..we are actually getting rid of them as fast as we can, breed like rabbits no predaters as they were introduced by some idiot who didn't know how to fish for native species........ probably some 19th century bored english lord or other .... you know the kind that thought marching slowly across no mans land in WW1 was a GOOD idea ............lol

Hi RIF - Can hardly wait til you can go fishing again and be done with that war.

AW - Here women take ginger for nausea in pregnancy. It works as well as pills. Ask your sister if it would be okay for you. I don't know if it would be alright with an ulcer.

believer do you get the possums getting up into your ceiling????

we used to have them all the time when we lived in the bush. When they first did that, I was all alone with a new baby, my daughter Bess, and I was woken in the middle of the night with hese big thumps coming from the ceiling....FREAKED out!!

That morning I thought 'ah ha RATS!! I'll fix that and chucked a packet of poison up inot the ceiling space. when I went into town to get the paper & mlk and things I mentioned it to the shop owner who just laughed and said No Mrs that's just Possums!!"

EEK I sped home got the ladder again and climbed up into the ceiling space slowly picked up all the pellets .........LOL

I actually got to enjoy the 'neighbours'... after awhile heh heh

Hey AW - Have you ever eaten a possum?? We caught one in our garage one time... Kept him up in a pen and feed him some good veggies for a couple of weeks... then we ate him... it wasn't very good... So when see a possum now, I just leave him alone... Oh, and you never answered my question on whether the toilet paper rolls from the top or the bottom...

Hey Believer - 5 days and a wake-up!!! Maybe I'll start packing later on this evening...

AW -

They get on the roof, and it sounds like there is a horse walking across it. But I'm used to them now.
Are you able to write to Aussie? If so, tell him we said hi.

Believer,

Love Koi ponds, put one in at our old house in Ohio in 2002. Kidney shaped, waterfall, loved it! I'd install them for a living if I could!

Try this for your critters. Worked great for us!!

You feed the paper from the TOP RIF...I see you will need to do day 2 AGAIN..hehehehe

Eat a possum ??? How could you!!! well with seasoned flour hot griddle plate hehehehe lol
NOPE never hungry enough, had Emu, Croc which is nice, Roo of course yummy

Well I can write to him but they wont be sent because that may ID where they are according to the Def Dept. So I write in the journal which is SO big now.
Really really missing him right now though, even if he may get a bit annoyed at me for being PG with all the other issues. I would so much like to tell him.
But Army wife just hurries up and waits, and waits, and waits, and trys not to let it get to you to often.
I keep telling myself this should be such a happy time , well relatively anyway.

I haven;t really drunk much alcohol since my * ahem * car incident a few months ago but last night we went to a neighbours house withthe kids and had a couple of drinks... a bottle of wine and a couple of gin and tonics.

I could've drunk that and played soccer a few months ago but its WRECKED me now !

Time for an ibuprofen and a pot of strong coffee me thinks !

* FF delighted about your kid. Must be a weight off your heart !

Hows idiotville this stinky grey English late autumn morning ?
