Bob, I posted to you yesterday. I made some beautiful chocolate covered pretzel rods for Thanksgiving. They are delicious and gorgeous.
Robby, I know you love her, now shower her with it!!!!
I make my ST dress up in our Santa suit every year. It is so out of his comfort zone. The kids love it though. It is really funny.
Okay, Bob I came back for minute.

AW,
What a mixed blessing. So glad Aussie is safe and coming home. I will be saying prayers for him until I hear you have him safely in your arms. (you to RIF, you have prayers of safe travel coming your way). I am sorry that they had to deal with such ugliness. I cannot imagine what these soldiers go through. We get only little bits of information and then it is through the eyes of the media. I cannot imagine being in their shoes. Thanks for update, I have been worried.

((((YAWN))))
I'm here, RH, I'm up...didn't want to get up, but I'm up, showered, depilorated (or whatever), blow dried and makeup on. It's gonna be near 80, and since the boss is away, I'm in my West Coast Chopper baby doll t and capris. Christmas? Are we sure it's Christmas? I mean, I signed the permission slip this morning so my d, Rebekah could sing carols for the shrivels and blue hairs...but it is too warm for Christmas. I've my tree up and stockings hung...but it's more beach weather than Christmas weather. Maybe we'll go make a sandman (instead of snowman) this weekend...hehe.
BTW: I mean it. Squeeze had nothing on me when they wrote, I'll never go drinking again. It kicked my bootay all the way till last night. So no more drinking for me - I'm too much a lightweight now. (((but it was fun, tho)))
- Kimmy, who is HAPPY to see JellyBing.

AW - Much love to Aussie. For his homecoming dinner, may I suggest baby carrots, baby peas, baby corn, and cornish game hens?

Mornin RIF. How are you doing? Getting that jittery, excited I'm-going-home-I-can't-wait feeling yet?

Mornin'. Wow, the military guys are trippin' home. Excellent. Thanks fellas.
Know what's fun? Reading AW's posts in an Aussie accent. Of course, it totally works! I tried reading one of DD's that way and the voice in my head just seemed like a crazy person's.

Hey Kimmy - I'm almost completely packed... and I've had that jittery, excited I'm-going-home-I-can't-wait feeling for a couple of weeks now...
I don't know if I'm more excited about going home myself, or the fact that Aussie is safe and heading home as well....

AW, that is great news that he is coming home. I hope he can work through the trama. That is very sad to hear. I can't even imagine what he went through, or what you go through waiting and not knowing. That is so far from my lifestyle, but my heart really goes out to you and your family.
{kimmy} hug for you, you know the kind that Jen mentioned.
GC, Hello, no, I'm not back. I ventured out of I-ville, to read some of your thread. (my only venture out, BTW) It sounds like you are really having a hard time. So sorry to hear that. Make yourself proud with your actions even when faced with your stbxw idiotic behaivor. {{{{GC}}}}
Take care Idiotville. I'm really out of here.

That is wonderful news AW. He is coming home safe.
Where I volunteer with the casualties, there was one young man who constantly walked the halls. He went up and down, back and forth, until he needed more morphine. He had been injured by a grenade and shot in both legs.
I kept telling him to rest and watch some TV, but he continued to walk. Over the days his story came out. He and two others were entering homes that had been "cleared". These are regular family homes. The first 2 Marines went in and there was a mother and 2 children there. Suddenly a man popped out behind them with a rifle and grenade.
The first 2 Marines were killed. I didn't ask what happened to the family.
This is the first war where there has been so much close contact. It even surpasses Vietnam. Where there is contact like this, there is a high incidence of PTSD. That is normal - even hardened soldiers are affected by these horrible situations.
When Aussie comes home, don't expect life to go on as usual. Realize that he has been in an awful place, and there will be a "culture shock". Let him do his own thing, and unwind. My prayers are with you and Aussie.

GC - You have to read mine with a slight southern drawl, silly. I say slight because I tend to pick up other's intonations and inflections when I speak. Also, my dad is from Milwaukee...that's why I say "pop" instead of "coke".
((GC)) Sugarbooger, you are a good man. I'm sorry for your pain.

Okay, Idiots, one, two, three:
When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again, Hurrah! Hurrah! We'll give him a hearty welcome then Hurrah! Hurrah! The men will cheer and the boys will shout The ladies they will all turn out And we'll all feel gay, When Johnny comes marching home. 2. The old church bell will peal with joy Hurrah! Hurrah! To welcome home our darling boy Hurrah! Hurrah! The village lads and lassies say With roses they will strew the way, And we'll all feel gay When Johnny comes marching home.
3. Get ready for the Jubilee, Hurrah! Hurrah! We'll give the hero three times three, Hurrah! Hurrah! The laurel wreath is ready now To place upon his loyal brow And we'll all feel gay When Johnny comes marching home. (((((((((((((((((RIF&AUSSIE))))))))))))))))))))))
