So my report for today *hurriedly flicking through newspaper* is that Princess Masako (wife of the Japanese crown prince) is on the mend after her bout of depression (rumour has it that the very conservative Japanese palace was pressuring her for having a personality) So good news hey?
Three idiotic things shouldn't be hard, I am a FWW after all.
So #1 Attempting to learn Japanese #2 Getting to the level of being able to order a beer after 6 months of lessons and #3 I can order a beer really well... now how about two? Hmmm

The Japanese royal family (I guess like most) is ultra conservative... she is supposed to stay at home except for official functions when she can smile and wave, and also she has to produce an heir to the throne. Thats it. But she used to be diplomat with a great career and she speaks 5 languages, she has a daughter but no son etc....
Its sad but hopefully things are slowly changing here.
