I hate weekends. Mon-Fri I have routine and life goes on. Sat/Sun throw me into turmoil. And now I am having a melt-down. My 13 yr old is playing the piano. Over the past few years I have really had to nag her to practise but today, all by herself, she is filling our house with music. It is so beautiful - Titanic theme, Beauty & the Beast, Norah Jones. She is such a clever talented girl. I am so proud of her. How can my f***ing idiot husband not be here to be moved like I am right now. A**hole.

Brown - LINY cracks me up - send those boys to California and be rid of them. They will fit in just fine. I probably wouldn't even notice two more laying around - the house is full of them most of the time. Once in awhile a girl comes by, but there is too much testosterone in the place.

Hi, onlywords - Welcome to Idiotville. We are all idiots here. You are going to fit right in with all of us. Some jobs that are taken: Mayor, attorney general, Street Superintendent or something like that, math teacher, school superintendent, sniper for SWAT team, and others. We need a new bartender, our last one left, and it's a very important job. However, due to the short tenure of the last one, you will have to show us you can stick around. Or, you can make up your own job. Whaddaya think? Not many people hang around here on the weekend, but I drop in a couple of times a day, at least. (I guess everyone else has a life of some kind) Have patience - it really picks up around here on Monday mornings!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> By the way, for the general population of I'ville - IB (after not speaking for a week) came in last night and asked if I wanted to go into town for some dinner. I thought he meant with my S and some friends, but it turned out he meant just us. Friendly conversation, somewhat tentative, but we did talk some about everyday things, and he was pleasant to me. We went home and both fell asleep in the living room - don't know what the deal was, but it was welcome. Every now and then I get a little glimmer of hope. Pathetic, isn't it? This a.m. not quite as cold as before. up and down and up and down and.... Trying to get my courage up to go Christmas shopping today. Need to do some shopping rather badly - tree looks naked with no packages under it. Must remedy that today. I hate traffic, crowds, etc. But I have to do it sometime - today's as good as any time, I guess. Well, I'll check back in this afternoon (she said, waving goodbye and killing the thread with sniper rifle ....)

Welcome OW,
Read some of your thread. Sorry for what you and RH are going through. I too am a FWS and also a BS. My H and I have been in recovery for about 3 weeks now since he discovered my A from over 7 years ago. Been very painful and difficult, but our MC is terrific and I have gotten some great coaching from this site.
Brown, don't think I have posted to you before but I think LINY is hysterical too! Sorry Mayor can't help encouraging him. Need the laugh ya know.
RIF, hope you are now safely on that plane and headed state side.

Had a scare yesterday with my FWH going to the ER for what he thought was a small heart attack. Fortunately he is fine, but now will need a stress test etc.
