Whew! Gee, I'm out building new roads for all this growth and I come back and find the place drunk. Ok, pass me a Coors. Thanks.

KY: you like changing hair colors? You'll love mine, first to gray and then to bald.

LINY: I closed the thread because I felt stupid in how I handled the situation. Plus, the thread was "for me" and I got what I needed out of it and sometimes it seems that onlywords "gets sucked in" to posting when she doesn't want to. I think she was online half the day yesterday. Then that puts her in a bad mood (which I can't stand), so it accomplished what I was looking for and then I closed it. Now some people ask in the thread for it to be closed and its days or several hours until it is, I just sent an email to the moderators and they took care of it. (I'm not looking for Jelly's record. hehehe - the thread with the most responses.)

Starz, you said:
quote:
up and down, up and down, up and down

I'm surprised no one else called you on that one, "ahem".

KY: I'M NOT LURKING. Just trying to get caught up reading wise. I don't read as fast as you and your satellite internet connection. We still run wires between cups out here in the Styx.

Evening HardWay, Robby's the mayor, Jelly's the Queen/Town Drunk. I think tonight was one of her better ______. I'll leave you to fill in the blank as I don't want her mad at me. She can get very _____ when she's ______. My title is Road Commissioner, and I work for the State, so I don't do anything.

Welcome. That was one. You owe us two more idiot things you've done. And get a job, or I'll sue your a$$ off!

.--just please don't be looking like Meg Ryan! (I like you just the way you are--ala fellow long islander, billy joel.)

{{{{{dip}}}}}} So, how long are you not here?

RH--maybe your initial reaction wasn't good, but just the fact that the two of you were communicating about it...that was cool.

Well, i'm on my third mike's and we all know what a lightweight i am, and getting tired after kicking the [censored] out of the dvd player tonight...and gotta rest up for the jets game tommorrow--tough job siting in the recliner with more mike's.

'nite all!

hey believer, since your the only one out in the streets tonight, let me throw this at ya.

As you know, very hesitant in wandering out of the village. but, brown and i were talking and something struck me that would be a good topic starter: Is it harder to take someone's advice or learn the hard way?

It's not so easy of an answer once you start thinkgin about it. Whatya think?

LINY - That is a great question, and easy for me to answer. It would be better to take advice, but I've always done things the hard way. Just my own issue.
