De...I read about one of them...like I posted a while ago: no matter how you look at it, the guy has some huge issues and problems. Problem is, he shouldn't be at this site seeking help.
Anyway, surprise visit from Grandma! Gotta go, all!

Actually, we do things the hard way here in the country....I'll have to wrastle down the chicken while RH milks the cow, then we'll make a sandwhich.

NOW - My best memories of good food were on my uncles ranch. We used to have Sunday supper, with a fresh chicken - tastes nothing like store bought chicken, baby potatoes, and things from the garden.
We had stew made from a steer he raised, and it tasted soooooooo much better than anything you can buy.

Hey NG, LINY!
(Do you mind the "NG"? I just can't get used to you having a real name, and the new one, well, it reminds me of H's x, so, really don't want to call you that either...oh shoot, just tell me if you don't want the NG, and I'll comply! )
Congrats on staying accountable to someone, LINY - that's the way to beat any addiction - good job!
Brown - good job being understanding, supportive, but telling him no more, too!
Oh, and good luck with the boys - I don't have any advice - mine is only 9yo, so I've not gotten to that issues yet...prayers that you'll do the right thing. (Oh, and one more - Bob had some good advice - I have an uncle that someone should've done that with - actually, my Grandma sortof did, hehehe - he came in stoned one night, and she told him to grow up and stop the stuff and he was gonna have to get a job, etc etc...well, he didn't like it too much and swung at her...thankfully, his motorskills weren't all there, and he missed, she walked to the closet, got a baseball bat, and "rang his bell" needless to say, he never swung at her again. I'd like to tell you it straightened him out, and now he's a model citizen, but I can't - it made my Grandmother feel so guilty, she has apologized for better than 15 years now, and has bailed him out of jail and too many other problems to mention. Tough love is a hard thing, but sometimes its a necessary thing - I've learned that while "kids" don't seem to appreciate it while it's happening, I haven't met one yet who as an adult didn't say "Thanks Mom/Dad for loving me enough to let me face the consequences of my actions" - When it's done in love, and with love, they'll know it wasn't out of anger, and they will respect you for it. {{Brown/Liny}}
RH - ok, 'nuf sluffing - get busy on them thare roads, our town is growing rather quickly, and I don't like all these bumps and the dust a flying!
NOW - WELCOME!! Been hoping you would join us...Oh, and I got the basket connection right away - shame on RH for not getting it...you know what they say - those who don't get it, don't GET it - for your sake, I hope he gets it soon!
ST - Stay tough, guy! It's difficult, yes, but very rewarding - it's the easy road to leave, it's much more difficult to stay and fight for what you have. Unfortunately, A's change everything, and everybody. Things won't ever be the same, BUT, that's a GOOD thing - doesn't seem like it, but do you really want to go back to being that carefree idiot who didn't see what he had? Yah, me neither...it's tough to trust (specially when they are gone for days at a time, believe me, I know, least your sweetie is home for you)...I also know that, while going back to the "ignorant" days seems like the way to go, you have such an opportunity to make your relationship, your whole Marriage, so awesome and great - you know where the weakness is/was; you have good (MB) information to help you keep it from getting weak again...use it...use the information. Tell that woman of yours what ENs you have...THEN, help her to know how to fulfill them...sortof like "this" EN really means I want you to "that", and "the other" EN really means "this"...yes, we females can read a lot into something, but we need help/guidance sometimes too - we're not mind readers either, no matter what we make you believe. You have moved so far, and you've given so much, it's easy from here man, trust me on this - it really is - go back to my posts to Kimmy, around Thanksgiving about blind-trust - sometimes you've just gotta force yourself to not think about it, force yourself to say "This is not going to keep this hold on me, I refuse to let it control me, us" Then, give it to God - that's what He wants us to do - He doesn't expect us to carry our burdens alone...if He did, He wouldn't have allowed all of us Idiots to be here, helping each other!
KY - Hang in there hon, it's not an easy road, and unfortunately there's no real way to turn off those things that bug us - keep your chin up deary, he'll come around. Oh, and don't forget, men usually say action things but don't necessarily mean them - it's an attempt to make sure we're listening...least that's what my H does!
One more thing - Kimmy's right...Aussie 3 Min Miracle - and, when my hair's feelin/lookin really overworked, I leave it in wrapped in a towel for like half an hour (Helps keep the heat in, which helps the conditioner work) then remove the towel, comb/brush/etc for a "wet" style, and leave it for a couple/few hours - however long I have until I HAVE to be presentable - then, you just rinse it out, no need to wash it again. (Tips from my hair stylist when I tried to darken mine last Christmas - I had green hair, just in time for all the parties!)
And, to lighten your hair without a lot of chemicals, Arm&Hammer baking soda - yup, it'll also help take out the color if you've just colored...to remove the bad color, use it immediately after coloring and realizing the bad result. To lighten a "too dark" color, or to help roots in between blonde coloring, it's AWESOME - you'll want to condition good afterwards, cause it can be drying, but works wonders. It's also great to help remove hairspray, or other styling products that may build up in your hair...'specially if you've gotten one of those "do's" from the stylist - you know, the one where they use half the can of hairspray, just on your bangs...wet your hair, and rub in some baking soda (or, if you're hair is dry/brittle, mix the baking soda with your shampoo or conditioner) rub it in your hair really well, then rinse, follow with shampoo, rinse, GOOD conditioning, rinse, and, badda bing badda bang!
OK, friendly hair tips from the LemonDash at no extra charge, thank you and good night!
OH, to the rest of Idiotville NewComers and OldTimers, hope y'all are having a good day.
(Starz - I'm off to find your update, it's done, right?)
