ROTFLMAO! I didn't even see that! And it was a copy and Paste! Guess I shouldn't suck back that 3rd 151 and eggnog, eh?

Oh, I can see that one. Well, I guess I qualify. As I said in an earlier post to this thread. "SF? What's that? Call me reborn. Virgin that is. ANd MS Grownover."

Whew! A Freudian slip.

Hi, idiots. Lots of lurkers today - Hi! y'all.

Dobie - if you are an Idiot In Waiting that means you are an Iin W to Queen Jelly - cushy job you picked out. You take care of her, you hear? Also, help her find her funny - she said she lost it somewhere. Look under the bed. Or in the urinal.

Robby - where'd you go? Whazzup? or down., whateva'

Had a one hour 20 min. session with Steve this a.m. - Made me late for work for only the 3rd or 4th time in 34 years. But this is more important than work.

I feel uneasy about your Cancer horoscopes. IB is a Cancer. I don't want him to reestablish his physical R with Curly. Not sure if that could mean me. Probably not, since .... you know.
Good thing I don't put much stock in horoscopes.

IB is in another state with S on a hunting trip given to S by a friend for college graduation. So I won't see him for 4 more days. I gave him a lot to think about while he's gone. Sure hope he comes to the right conclusion when he gets back. It's time for him to make a move either right or left. I think he now realizes what he will lose if he goes left. There is NO ONE among our family or friends who will support him if he goes left. He believes that he has burned his bridges behind him and that if we reconcile (which he says he doesn't know if he wants)he can't even live in this county any more due to this A. My job now is to convince him that we can be happy together (again) and that if we reconcile, and I continue to love him and be with him, most people will accept him and we can go on in a similar way to the way we have lived all these years. I must convince him that I can trust him again if we both work at it, and that we can leave this in the past and move forward together. Tough job. I have several days in which to think about my approach. He has several days to think about whether he wants her or to stay and try to save the marriage.

Kind of a tense situation, eh? Anyone with advice is welcome. I'll be hanging around all day.

F-again - I read your thread. I'll have to think about it. You seem to be doing just fine though.

FF: On pages 231 & 232, maybe more, but that's as far back as I went. Then I corrected them. I see that Justuss will be busy on this page several times (AW, DD, etc.). Oh well, guess that's what he/she is paid for.

Hey just a question, since we're unsure if Justuss is male or female, could he/she be a hermaphrodite?

Mornin' Starz. Is it a teacher workday in your county? It is here. Bekah was so excited. To be 8 again....

Email me if you want, I'll talk to you about IB if you need to vent one on one.

Love you!

Hey, Idiots!
I've been away for a few days....had a lot to catch up on around the house with Christmas coming and stuff...didn't mean to IGNORE you all.

Just got back from the grocery store. As I was leaving, passed OM coming around the corner in his bus....at a stop sign. I swear he had a smirk on his face or something, unless that could pass as a smile? Think we should "tell" on him?

RH, I hope you're reading because I don't feel like saying this out loud but wanted you to know.

FF - Thanks for saying I have a wacky sense of humor. Any kind of humor is better than the one LINY has....

Robby - Never did get back to you on the dream analysis from The Sopranos. Had to ask RH because I don't watch the show, so this is only a guess based on what little I know now...

It sounds to me like this "boss" guy was influenced byt the coach when he was younger, probably looked up to him, and also maybe felt rejected by him. So he's probably torn, wanting to kill the S.O.B for shooting him down, for telling him he'd never amount to anything, but also knowing on some level that he was actually right, maybe even feels some guilt over his life choice to be a mob boss. Maybe the gun breaking and bullets crumbling represent his realization that he is powerless to do anything about someone else's opinion of him?

KY - Where's my e-mail?

Later!

No, not a workday - I am giving finals today. But then I am off until Jan 3rd. I might do the email thing. I don't feel free to say some things on here.

Thanks

Morning NOW
I just noticed your sig.
George Eliot was a fantastic woman! She really had a way with words. I have always admired her individuality and her fight against the mainstream of what was considered an acceptable role for woman.

NOW: Thanks. I've seen that smirk too, makes me want to do something non-MB, but I'm too ____ for that.

FF you said:
quote:
Iville tip of the day (heard this one on our local news)Don't drink and drive....you might spill your drink.

...except for Brown. NOW: Yup. HEr real name was Mary Ann Evans.

Another good quote from her is:
quote:
"Marriage, which has been the bourne of so many narratives, is still a great beginning, as it was to Adam and Eve, who kept their honeymoon in Eden, but had their first little one among the thorns and thistles of the wilderness. It is still the beginning of the home epic - the gradual conquest or irremediable loss of that complete union which makes the advancing years as a climax, and age the harvest of sweet memories in common." (from Middlemarch, 1871-72)

Check out this site: http://www.kirjasto.sci.fi/gelliot.htm

Did you get my message? Can you do it? Huh, huh, huh?

Everyone else: No, not that kind of do it.
I asked her to do me a favor and take some photos of the shed I'm working on...sheesh.

RH and NOW, can I just say how happy I am that you two are here?

Okay, okay....I'm schmaltzy today. Sue me. I love how big Idiotville is getting....and I really like the people!

Jel - gonna make your oreo bon-bons since Zach is coming home Sunday. I also got the stuff to make Reindeer turds (Chex mix covered with chocolate) and haystacks (toasted coconut mixed with chocolate), not to mention the Christmas staples, cut out sugar cookies and spritz cookies. I even bought a turkey breast to cook since I don't have the space to cook a whole turkey.

Okay. Anyone else but me hungry now?

in my best La-la voice (((((BIG HUGS)))))

NOW: Maybe you could pick a man's name for your pen name for that book you're going to write? That would be ironic...picking a man's name, not writing the book you dodo.

DD: I like it when's she's here too. It gives us something else to share. There are times when I feel she's still hiding something, but when she's on here I don't feel that. I don't know why that is. (Kinda weird though, like its a security blanket.)

I also like your recipes (well, at least I like your writing about them). I think it's interesting to see what other people eat and it gives us ideas, though we don't always take them.
