starz, I've been in touch with him. He will post soon. He is just taking some time.

We just got rid of our beautiful yellow lab. Gave her away. She was $600.00. We just aren't animal people. I can't even handle touching a dog. She was ALWAYS and outside dog, and she just didn't get the love she deserved.

Now, I miss her something terrible, and I wish we still had her. Our poor Lilly dog.

Jelly- thanks. I was worried.

Believer - I just love dogs. They give love unconditionally. They don't expect anything in return. They are so happy to see you when you come home - you can tell it's the most important moment of their life - when you come walking up the sidewalk. They put their whole body into their love. They don't just wag their tail - the whole body wags. They smile when they see you. They want nothing more than to be with you and perhaps (bliss!!) get their belly rubbed or be patted on the head.

We humans could learn a lot from dogs.

If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you, it's yours. If it doesn't, it never was. We do not possess anything in this world, least of all other people. We only imagine that we do. Our friends, our lovers, our spouses, even our children are not ours; they belong only to themselves.

Robby - YOU'RE BACK!!! (Starz does happy dance)

But I haven't understood a word you've said for the past 3 days. Did you learn a different language while you were gone? Interpret for those of us who are unilingual, please.

Robby's Back!! Robby's Back!! Robby's Back!!!.....

Sorry for the absence. A lot happened, none of it good.

Thursday night my W, Leigh, told me she wasn’t in love with me anymore and hasn’t been for a long time. She doesn’t think there is any way we can ever have a happy marriage and wants to move towards D.

She’s not lurking. I just wanted to express how I feel.

For all you newbies (or those of you who don’t pay attention), when this town was founded I decided that I will retain the official title of Mayor of Idiotville until my W posts. Then we would hold elections…

So I’ve got some good news and some bad news….

The good news is that I’m back! Thanks for your concern. I’m loved by idiots and that ain’t so bad!

The bad news is that your all stuck with me and I will most likely be MAYOR FOR LIFE!!!

Is there any chance that you could get her to talk to Steve Harley? Just once? She owes it to your child to at least try once.

At this point, it couldn't hurt much to ask, could it?

Hey g&g. After a GREAT saturday, what a ****** Sunday. Not even gonna get into it.

{{robby}}
Glad you're back--but not without good news. I had already spent about 4 million dollars in campaign ads. Certainly can live without $4M as opposed to not being with brown. So sorry, bro.

HOWEVER...There ain't no fat ladies here in i-ville and I certainly don't hear no singin'. (Dog calling, but no singing! OOOOOOOWWWWWWHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOO...OW OW...OOOOOOOWWWWWWWWHHHHHHOOOOOOOOO!)
It ain't over yet, Robby.

Gotta get up early with brwon and take her to work. (Already about an inch out there--expecting 4 total. OK--no Irish jokes, alright?!?!!?)

(And KY said I'm "almost" funny!!!!!!!!!!! Any typos RH?)

Have a great day everyone!

I'm so sorry. You know what, though? That quote you posted, that's so true, and if you can really live that you believe it, then your W just might end up falling in love with you again.
It seems a common thing, for WS's to say they aren't "in love" anymore. And the problem is we think that it's a necessary ingredient to staying married, especially once you get those feelings for someone other than your spouse. That's a hard one to let go of. I also believe that it's probably as distressing to her as it is to you, and believe it or not, she just may be thinking it's as much for your good as it is for hers.
But I agree with LINY....it ain't over 'til it's over.

IT'S COLD HERE THIS MORNING!!!!!!!

Not sure I can add anymore to what's been said, know that we're here for you and care for you.

Mother never told me that life would be fair or easy. I find that as I get older, I think life gets harder and more unfair. Hang in there.

Robby, I'd be happy to take back 45 deg. weather. It was 1 deg. here this morning. I think Jelly sent it over.

This is only my second December living in Florida. They say your blood thins (its actually your skin) but my gosh it's cold!! We moved here from Ohio. I just looked up our old zip code on weather.com. It's 0 and feels like -9!! We used to be used to it but would most likely die of exposure now!

Welcome back mayor, we missed you and were worried about you as you can see from the pages and pages that built up.

Morning Iville. I did not post all weekend (well ok I did lurk once or twice and did post to Pep once) and you certainly were busy people here in Iville.

Ok I have my weekend idiot story. Are you ready? I bought new Christmas lights for the outside of our house, did not like the way my H just threw the old ones up. Spent a good hour on a very rock ladder attaching them to the rain gutter etc. and come to realize...yup started with the wrong end of the strand and can't plug them in!! Female to female don't work ya know. So when my H came home I tried to fix them and fell off a ledge on our porch over a bush and flat on my back on our newly manured lawn! Ouch I landed so hard they heard me inside the house. Lets just say I can barely move my neck today. My H fixed the lights and they do look great though. I walked around all day mumbling what an idiot I am!

RH, get off me, I'm not your prom date!!!

I went the Market this morning, the very friendly manager told me he let his weiner dog out this morning at 4 am and it was -6. Burr, that had to have been one cold weiner.

Robby one guess where you can shove your 45 degree weather.

I'm almost done wrapping your gifts I-ville. Not sure how to wrap that lump of coal for RH though.

Good morning everybody.

A great big hug to you all {{{{{idiotville}}}}}

and a special one for {{{{{robby}}}}

and one giant lick for you all to share as well.

I have a headache, I think my hair is too tight.

Today I am confused. Not sure what to do now. Maybe plan B but I need to find a way to expend the energy without building up any hope.

Tomorrow I am wearing my very sexy she-elf costume!!

Good morning, everyone.

IB and S came home a day early from hunting trip. Major surprise. IB has gone Christmas shopping. I will be finishing my shopping, too, this afternoon, but must take mother to a luncheon today. So I'll be around this a.m.

Yes, Robby, what are you wearing? I'm really partial to the Christmas sweater and red leather miniskirt with the black boots. 'Tis the season, you know.
