AW - Glad to see your holiday is going fine. And Cuban cigars! We can't get them here because of the embargo.

Hope you enjoy being with your family and Aussie. I'm so glad he is home for Christmas.

Everyone else - Hope you have a great Christmas.

LOL ff!!!! (Well, trying to stifle it--brown and the babe are sleping down here.)

Merry Christmas everyone!

AW--take it easy hon--just being home with you and your family is I'm sure good enough for him if he said it--stop reading into it, dear!!!! (The pile in the middle of the store? Wish I had the ornaments to do that!)

quote:
You can't sue! You're city property!!

And you are the mayor...hmmm...Does that make me your *****?!?!?

Finally finished wrapping and stuffing the stockings and presents under the tree.

You know a few pages back I was thinking of my Dad? Weird: Brown had said tonight that she was sorry she couldn't be more supportive of me (during her depression) and that if I wanted to talk it's something she'd like. (Dad and her had a deep respect for one another.) Anyway, for whatever reason, really feeling his presence overly so past 24 hours. (He is so looking out for my D's--so many qualities are in them of his--and yo D never met (physically, that is.)

Anyway, have a great day everyone!!!

Welcome john!

Happy birthday to you...
Happy birthday to you...
Happy birthday baby Jesus...
Happy birthday to you!

AW--my SIL is a dietician. I asked her some q's for your condition. She said instead of liver (yuck)green leafy veggies, lean meat (u need to watch the fat and weight gain with the diabetes) and molasses! She said drink tea with molasses (decaf) in it, loads of iron. She also took supplements for the iron when she was preg. Oh, if you have cereal like Total there, she said eat it as an afternoon snack. She said the morning is the most dangerous time for the blood sugar to rise quickly. She also said to limit milk intake to two glasses per day. Hope you are getting good support from a dietician.

Big hugs to you and Aussie. Please take care of yourself. {{{AW/A2}}}

Merry Christmas, Liny!

we have been so busy with neices & nephews, our DD & DS, it got to a wopping 100.4 degrees with humidity like Singapore!!
We just about melted but Aussie was busy playing with Mandy's (sister) little boy & girl - 6 & 10 yr old... letting them push him in the pool and then chasing them... he really seems happy today...even if he was up to 3.30am again.

They just finished playing cricket in the backyard - famous in Aust - you just haven't lived if you have never 'got a 100 runs playing cricket in the backyard at Mums' LOL isnt that right smur????? ( Big {{{{{hugs}}}}} to you being so far from home to)

Well dogs have started to howl and winds got very strong so looks like we'll get a few drops if we are lucky.
Just moments ago big storm blew in & its SOOO hot but has started to rain - just not on us yet - thunder very dark, lightening ......pretty rare for this time of the year here.

Well I've got to get back to the kitchen - just popped in to the study to get some peace for a momment ....lol -, ham needs cutting, fruit platter refilled, OJ & mango drink, wine galore except for me - had my allowance of one glass under sisters stern eye and rasied brows - seeesh dont older sisters EVER let go????

Hey sis's husband Johnno just arrived...great chef he had a 700 guest list he was cooking for today been working since 8.00am yesterday non stop poor man. John - yes ANOTHER one - & A have been mates since he was 17 so we do sort of live in each others pocket a bit.
So total Johns for today is John- BIL, John - Aussie, John- dad, John - brother, John - nephew, John - son, John - grand dad, LMAO....must be some sort of family thing do you think????

Merry Christmas and a huge Ho HO HO to everyone in I'ville.

I have been avoiding coming here for the last couple of days as I try to resolve some of my internal issues.

But, I decided that I needed to let eveyone here know how much I appreciate your advice and support (and the 2 bys)

My wishes and prayers are for all of you today.

I wish and pray that you all stay strong and true to yourself and your families.

I wish and pray that for those of you on the road to recovery that God shines a light on your struggles and shows you the way home.

I wish and pray that for the WSs that a little light burns away some of the fog in the coming year

I wish and pray that the BSs get the outcome to their situations that they can live with and perhaps get even more that they deserve

I wish and pray the the children remain as innocent, trusting, joyful, and free from the pain as they deserve.

My sincere and heartfelt thank yous and prayers for you all.

Where's the egg nog?

morning Iville. Big miracle in this house. My H went Christmas shopping for the first time in YEARS! I will fill you in later on what he bought. Waiting for the kiddos to wake up and see what Santa brought. Today is also DD's 12 th bday. Love that girl, she is a gem.

Love ya all and Jelly thanks for the gift. Guess I will have to read it since I still think Liny is funny!

May God bless you all with his love, forgiveness, strength and joy.

Merry Christmas Mayor, Idiotville. Merry Christmas Justuss.

I'm having a nice time so far. Got a lot of the cooking done yesterday. Food is in the oven, and just going to enjoy the day today.

My sons opened one of their playstation games last night (they were going to play it, and then wrap it up for this morning). Anyway I went over to say goodnight and the game was on. The language was vile - I asked them what that awful game was, and they both started laughing. Told me that was the game I bought them for Christmas!

Merry Christmas, fellow idiots.

IB and his brother and our S are upstairs watching a movie. All the presents are opened and the paper all cleared away. Christmas dinner (ham, sweet potato casserole, English Peas, Congealed Salad, yeast rolls, and pies, of course, are all eaten. The silver is washed and put away until probably Easter my M and MIL have gone home to take their naps, and I am writing my friends in Idiotville to wish them a happy day. IB seemed to like all his presents. I am glad, as I tried really hard this year. I tried to make it as normal and happy as I could, and I think I was successful. Plan A at its best.

Don't usually post as I read, but I'm going to tonight.

Robby, you said:
quote:
How's it going RH?

Where's NOW been?

Swellings been going down on the knee, but I still go for an MRI on Tuesday. Was putting up 1/2 the roof on the shed on Friday and I'm still able to walk on it today (used a brace and that was a big help.)

NOW has been getting ready for Christmas. Really out did herself this year and we still haven't seen her side of the family (well, outside of a small squabble with her sister on Christmas Eve). Her family is coming tomorrow (Sun.) and she's doing up all kinds of food...even a chocolate pecan pie (can't wait, yummy). Today went extremely well, other than the kids being too impatient and not being able to follow directions on games and stuff they got. SIMS 2 won't work and a couple of "other games" that I'm going to have to troubleshoot after bit. But all in all, quite nice thank you.

So, Mayor, how was your Christmas? Hope you used a little of what you learned in the 5 love languages book to speak to the W?
