Geez RH, Justuss got you again! Darn I miss everything and only get to see the edits.
Had a good day. My F, B, SIL and kids this am and H's F and B this afternoon. Plus a friend whose kids are with their mother out of state. Another M that was undone by A's. Good food, H barbq'd the turkey. It was good.
Ok, got my first real gift from him in years. He bought me the softest, prettiest robe, slippers, a scarf and matching gloves.

Jelly - ah yes. We can all sit back tonight, go whew, it's over, and have a drink.
Let's see, best moment. I guess just cooking today and feeding the neighbors, friends, my sons, and their friends. We had a very California laid back Christmas. I put the food on the table, and people kinda came and went.
The day was spent eating, watching basketball and football, playing playstation, fishing and surfing. Just an all around nice day.

Hi, everyone. I guess my best Christmas moment was watching IB open all the presents I got him, and how pleased and surprised he was by each one. I bought T Shirts for both S and IB and wrapped them separately. Then tonight they were bargaining and trading them with each other. They both wanted the one with a squirrel holding a baseball bat. It said "Protect Your Nuts." S got one that said "Chicken Ranch" and loved it but it was too small so IB got it too. I ordered another one in a larger size tonight for S. They loved the shirts above all else, I think. Oh, well. Can you spell dysfunctional? We have a weird sense of humor at our house. By the way, for you nonTexans, the Chicken Ranch was the infamous bordello (nice word for it) which was located in La Grange, Texas, and was the subject of an investigation by Marvin Zindler of Channel 13 news back in the early 70's. As a result, the place closed down and they made the musical "Best Little *****house In Texas" and eventually the movie starring Dolly Parton and Burt Reynolds. It was a real place with real people and people I knew in college had been there. The newsman, Marvin Zindler, is still on channel 13 in Houston. He's quite old now, but just as obnoxious as ever. In fact, he and my father in law went to college together. Marvin was the drum major of the band. Just bringing you up to date on some Texas History.

Best Christmas moment was getting a present from my H. 2nd would be my DD spending the afternoon with H's estranged F. Very nice. Got DD an electric scooter, she had a blast on it. Beautiful weather today 70's blue skies gorgeous. One of the most laid back and nice days ever. I fall more in love with my H every day. How is that possible?

FF that was TERRIBLE!!!!!! Groooooaaaaannnnn.
Best Christmas moment. Very sophisticated 24 year old daughter bouncing on my cousin's kids' trampoline and doing forward flips.
Other best Christmas moment, tring to unplug Rob from his iPod so we can talk to him. We'd told him what he was getting and he wasn't sure he wanted one and now he won't put it down.
Other best Christmas moment, the whole family singing Bohemian Rhapsody, complete with head banging, on the way to my cousin's.
Starz, we'd even heard of the Chicken Ranch way down here.

Topping off my day with a margarita made by me. Sometimes when I find out something else he has done, a margarita or two is the only thing that kills the pain. Such is tonight. Better to drink than the other thing I feel like doing sometimes. But I have been drinking too much lately. Triglycerides are up in latest blood work from doc. Don't want to become an alcoholic as my parents did at about my age, and IB has been one (in my opinion ) for years. So here I am, following in the family footsteps. It's possible that I would be better off without him in the long run. Don't know how I would keep the ranch running, but I guess I'd have to cross that bridge when I come to it.
He obviously has no intention of stopping contact with her. Something severe will have to be done. My lawyer plans to talk to him sometime soon - another friend already has interceded with some cold hard facts. He is so pitiful. And doesn't even know he's pitiful. I will try to do the things Steve has told me to do, but what will I do if they don't work? Dear God, what did I do to deserve this?
He went to church with me last night and took communion. I want so much to keep hoping for the best, but everytime I get to hoping, I get shot down.
Tonight I found this web address on his computer: glothongs.com Go ahead, check it out. None of those were in MY Christmas stocking.
Sorry, I'm just venting here. Sorry to do it on Christmas night. I had a pretty good day. Then I found the website and just fell apart. I think I'll have another margarita and just go to bed.
We are going to Biloxi, Mississippi, with some friends for 4 days on the 28th. We will have a good time, gamble, play, eat, and I will plan A my buttocks off. If nothing else, maybe I will end up with smaller buttocks.
Just ignore this post. I just needed to vent to friends. You guys have become GREAT friends to me this year. Love you all.

Starz, don't know what else to say but that we're here for you.
Gotta agree with FF, it's pretty dark where IB has his head stuck. (And I didn't look at the website - sounded VERY icky.)

Thanks, guys. You are wonderful.
I remember when I went to Europe, I felt like my brain had been cracked open, and knowledge just poured into my head. It was like getting a 2nd college degree in just two weeks.
I wish someone would crack his head open and pour in knowledge. Then the awakening, when it occurred, would be "What have I done? What have I done to my wife? What can I do to fix this?"
I so long for that.

Robby: None of those three songs were it. It was the one that went "Merry Freaking Christmas" over and over and over....
FF: Well, if I got nabbed, then so did LINY. It was the B word. Guess I'm going to start complaining about all the other threads whose posters use words such as these. (Geez, are we back in High School?)
