Affording to go is my biggest hurdle. Plus I need to start doing some serious running well in advance. But that's always been on my long list of things I want to do. I have other assorted items still unchecked, such as diving in the Cave of Sleeping Sharks, driving a tank, etc.

Isla Mujeres.

Get a good guide.

It is Mexico, ya know...

Lots of rip-offs!

Flights to Pamplona are running about $825 right now. Charge it!!

And don't worry about running distance, work on your sprint!!

I've been to Isla Mujeres and love it there. Garrafon (sp?) Reef is spectacular.

My credit cards can't even handle that. We'll see what they look like in July.

And I guess being a mother to small children definitely qualifies me as a sprinter.

I have two awesome kids. My baby girl will be one this week and my son will be seven next month. They're very cute. DS is asleep right now and I'm hoping that baby girl goes to sleep soon so we can sneak up the hill for a couple of sledding runs.

I was going to ask the same question and why do you have to sneak. Can't dd and ds go too? Me too, me too. Haven't seen snow in quite a while.

Yep, I plan on abandoning the kids for a few. Our way cool neighbors in the duplex will keep an ear open for them. We is H and I. Trying to get creative on the RC for the critically broke. Plus I was bummed out last year because I couldn't go sledding due to pregnancy.

Ya'll are invited. I'll make hot chocolate for afterwards!

gray - Where I'm from, we consider ya'll cheeseheads. But that doesn't stop me from being a Packer fan.

I don't know exactly what spawned it, but I can envision John out there with a JATO unit strapped onto a sled.

Hey, idjuts.

Had a nice evening with IB's brother and wife. One nephew came, too. He is out in the hot tub now with IB. It was fun to be with them. They'll be here tomorrow, too, so my SIL can go with me on the great RETURN expedition. It just figures. I am not the one who didn't get things that fit = but I am the one who returns them. I have no idea what I did with all the sales slips. I know I put them somewhere ---
This job should not be given to an idiot. I lose everything.

Well, gotta go for tonight. Thanks, all, for the hugs.

BTW - I have tried to distance myself from his antics, but I just keep coming back to fret over it again. I really think what I have been doing (exposure, etc.) is working. The pressure is on and driving them further apart, I think. They are finding it almost impossible to be together any more. I think his grumpiness is often a result of his realizations that he can't keep things as they were. He's going to have to give her up, I think. Every now and then (like tonight) I see a glimmer of the old IB. That makes it worth it to keep going. If I weren't keeping track of his comings and goings, I wouldn't know if I was effective, would I? I feel I must spy some more longer, so when it ends I will know it ended. How else will I be sure? Also, his trip to town today was clearly just a quick errand thing to two stores and then straight back home. If he talked to her at all, it had to be only a voice mail message, because he wasn't there long enough to actually talk to her. (Their conversations range from 15 min. to 2 hours.)

Oh, well, must go now and get towels out for nephew. Busy day tomorrow - exchanging, visiting, and packing to leave on the 28th for trip to Biloxi and the casinos!! My wishes for the next 5 days:

1. Let him not see her or talk to her tomorrow. One day at a time, Sweet Jesus....

2. Let us laugh and have a good time in Biloxi.

3. Let him see us as we used to be - playful and full of fun and a happy married couple.

4. Oh, and let us not lose TOO much money

Starz, here's hoping.

NOW, we get a summer. Hot and fine today - first time in about 2 months.

Robby, you must have missed my post about baby bear playing with the wrapping paper. They all love that more than the presents.

BTW hi to John and MIF?.

GC, you let me kill your journal thread. I know I'm a world renowned thread killer but that one always seemed to keep going - until I got hold of it.

Three posts in a row but I keep thinking of stuff I want to say.

John and MIF did you read Idiotville for a while before you decided to drop in? I'm always interested in who the lurkers are.

Didn't mean to ignore you Kiwi!!

Baby Bear loved the paper.

Even ate a bit!

Really tore into his presents and then tossed them aside to play with the wrapping paper!

Love that kid!!

Sledding was fun, but the snow was a bit sticky so we couldn't reach warp speed. We did scare the snot out of our neighbors by throwing snowballs at their bedroom window. We also had a snowball fight. Our snow night was definitely a success. Too bad we couldn't have a few dozen bulls and sharks chase us down the slopes to make it more thrilling.

Nobody from here showed up. Didn't you guys get my invitation?
