Just a bump to try and get LINY's question answered:

What do females call their downstairs 5 o'clock shadow?

I LOVE Idiotville. Where else could we be entertained for hours on end talking about shaving and 5 o'clock shadow?

Aussie - Do you have AW tied to the stove or something? She was posting all the time while you were gone.

Morning I'ville. Robby, Dobie, FF.

YAWN... Spent the last hour trying to configure my new cell and online account. What is up with those flippin' phones. I can configure a network yet a phone is driving me nuts! Then when I call the provider for service, they're closed!

Large coffee, please.

I was visiting my friend last night (who just happened to be the person I waxed) . When I told her Dobie's story and some of the responses, we were snorting with laughter every time we looked at each other. Her H didn't know what we were laughing at and when he asked we couldn't stop laughing harder.

Sheesh! It is soo good to laugh. I think it release some of those toxic feelings that we all have.

'morning Iville,

Hows everyone this am? Hung over after last nights funny fest??

Answer to Liny's q: sandpaper (hence Dobie's exfoliator)

Seriously, what does this board do when a member threatens suicide? This is the 2nd one I have seen in recent time. The first one I remember clearly was Laundry Mistress. I don't know if she ever posted again. sigh...

Kimmy, you don't need ebay. I will adopt you and your little mommies. Course, you will have to stare at my shoes the rest of your life....

Robby, how many questions have you gotten? You are one gutsy guy I will say.

Thank you FF.

Suicide is quite possibly the hardest topic for me to deal with. I tend to be somewhat of a zealot on the subject, so I try to stay away...sometimes I get roped in, though, and share my experience with it.

What can you do online, though? Ultimately, the decision to stay on the face of the planet as a living, loving being or as daisy fodder is up to the person who is threatening it. It is quite possibly the most selfish act a person can do...but then, I totally understand the almost primordial need for the pain to end sometime, somehow.

Geez. Talk about a fence squatter, huh?

Please excuse my mental regurgitation. I'm excessivly depressed and tired.

Suicide hurts more than the victim. Everyone the person touches, loves, cares about is a victim. They will never, ever recover from the act. It will always be a painful scar filled with what ifs and whyfors that not even time will make them forget.

I know that the beauty of annonymity (sp) on these boards is also very frustrating when something like this happens. We have no idea where he lives so can't even call the police and we will never know what happened to him unless he posts again. It hurts to think someone could throw God's greatest gift of life away. sigh..

Ok, nuff said.

Mornin Y'all.

Kimmy - well said, couldn't have said it better myself.

As for what does the board do - I don't know, but I e-mailed Justuss last night and asked that very question - I'll let you know if Pat responds.

Mornin John - your answer was rather funny - Welcome to Idiotville, you might fit in here rather well!

I'm pleased to hear that DD is posting. I'll go read it soon.

Back to 5 o'clock shadow. I woke up at 3 this morning and had one of those lightbulb moments. "Liny meant what do WOMEN call their OWN 5 o'clock shadow?" I was almost too frightened to come on this morning to see what sort of an Idiot I was being called.

And Rob said he dreamed all night about Brazilian waxes.

I'd love to have a B. wax. I'm inherently lazy - that would be what? 10-20 min off every morning's ritual?
