Awwww ! I'm touched ! Sorry to hear about any accident of course, 'specially on vacation. So many Brits drive on the 'wrong' side for the first time in Orlando tho' it carnage for tourists there. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" />

I was never closer than a six hour drive from cold, cold Orlando this holiday though ! And no accidents. I must say though I'm not sure an accident wouldn't have improved the looks of our hire car - a pontiac aztek. What a DONKEY lookin' car ! We have the Fiat Multipla in Europe which looks like a pig with back trouble, but the Aztek is a whole new ballgame of ugliness !

* erm not a bad family car for a thousand miles round Florida though! * <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

LINY, darlin' how you doing ? I thought of you and Brown while I was on holiday. Hoped you be OK but the holidays always exascerbates any ambient strife in my experience.

Like you , man, I can't wait to bury 2004 in the sh1t pit it so richly deserves. 2004 tried to kill me but failed. I think I have to wear spurs on 2005....

Squid & I had a perfectly nice, loving holiday but its clearer than ever that we have a bucket of stuff to discuss. Squid wants to put 'it' behind her into a 'never mention again' folder. I can't do that. She has to change some fundamental behaviours of we are to have a good rest-of-our-life.

I've set the bar higher for our M now that it was set before. 'tolerable' don't cut it anymore.

If it wasn't for the kids I honestly think I'd be a lot more forthright in my engagements with Squid.
Anyway....

Must get on with getting over my jetlag so I can fly to Vegas on friday to start it all over again !! ( start of year sales kickoff thing).

Love and care to you and Brown, Liny. Remember anything you can lisft or swing is a suitable 'correction aid' for those Gorillas you have house sitting right now.

I could KILL a Gin and Tonic. May have to go make one. later folks.

Hi Nikko! So good to see you here!

This year I took the innards out of the goose for Christmas. I failed to notice the 12 inch NECK that was still in the body cavity until after we carved it. The dog greatly appreciated his treat.

Off topic, but if anyone ever wants to roast a goose you have GOT to brine it overnight. It made a huge difference. Even the neck was nice and juicy. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

I can see Fraggles lurking. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

Hey, Frags, you closed the bar and left about a gazillion pages ago and we've been (sort of) dry in I'ville since then. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Hey, FF, Happy New Year to you.

I started a post before where I was going to say HNY to everyone by name in Idiotville but I realised half way through it that I was going to miss people out so I gave it up. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

You know what I dreampt of last night? Royally kicking the s$it out of my oldest son. Ya know the latest? Brown absolutely despises (to be nice) any other hole in face besides God-given ones and earrings. Well guess what he goes and gets yuesterday? A lip ring! (Mind you, he has paid a whopping $90 towards rent since October.) Of course he says his friend bought it for him. Brown was literally going to rip it out. Don't know what stopped her. Guess all of the additional bills it would cause by rushing him to the ER.)

Great to hear you had a splendid time!

Not gonna quote the rest of what you wrote, but, I hear ya--from the "other side." I understand this *HAS* to be discussed. But like squid, I just want to get on with it. I know I can't though. And, I'm sure she realizes it too.

OK...one more quote...
</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><hr /><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">I've set the bar higher for our M now that it was set before. 'tolerable' don't cut it anymore.</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">AMEN to that too! And ya know? I think, from everything you've told us, for the huge progress she's made and what she's been through, Squid probably feels the same way--no, she *does* feel the same way. She may not know how to express it just yet, but. She's there with you, working...*TOGETHER*!

If it wasn't for the kids I honestly think I'd be a lot more forthright in my engagements with Squid.
Anyway....

Sweet dreams to you and yours Bob!

I certainly understand that Jen when I could not for the life of me remember anyone's job here! Happy NY to you! Ok, now I really do have to get something done around here. My house is a disaster zone.

LINY,

Even if it was given to him, he can hock it for rent money, right?

Hey ff!....sorta just shut my eyes again and went back to sleep--until brown yelled at the baby for destroying the living room. (I think it was more at me, cause she thought I was awake!)

DAGNABIT! There's no "retrieve post" button.

LINY, don't sweat the lip jewellery.

Son had huge ear stud things, nipple rings and he's got tatts on both legs, on his back, front and on his right arm. The face and body jewellery are gone but I guess he's stuck with the tatts for life. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

He doesn't work, as you know, but he's turned into a very reasonable human being. Still drives us nuts by not moving out but there's talk of him moving in with his girlfriend soon.

Your boys are much younger than my son and I'm guessing they'll grow up a lot faster than he has. Yours sound more "typical slacker boys" than my son ever was. My son seemed to have problems that were more than typical teenage problems. He was badly bullied at school when he was about 14 and that seemed to be the real start of his problems. (We moved him away from that school in the end).

Actually ., it's the fact that brown *specifically has asked/demanded since he was 16 *NOT* to do this. Just yet another thing on the long list of disrespectful things our son(s) have done. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="images/icons/mad.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="images/icons/mad.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="images/icons/mad.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="images/icons/mad.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="images/icons/mad.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="images/icons/mad.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="images/icons/mad.gif" />
