Explains a lot doesn't it FF.

When one of your friends is Tigger it sure does make you an Idiot.

(And you're being naughty FF, he said his friend wasn't Tigger. LOL.)

My immediate resolutions are to recover from this hangover and try to figure out how to get replacement light bulbs for my German grandfather clock. In classic idiot style, I lost the burned out ones a few years ago and don't remember what they look like.

Gotta go run errands for a while. Cya Jen and Dobie. Gotta hide from Starz too as I think Robby may take another contract out on me.

As Robby is out of town, I have not yet received a contract on you. You are safe for now.

Quiet day at home. IB upstairs, watching football and stuff.

Me downstairs doing laundry and catching up on the 31 pages I missed while I was gone.

I cooked blackeyed peas and cornbread for lunch. Blackeyed peas are supposed to bring you luck all year long. Cabbage is supposed to bring you money. I didn't have any cabbage, but I need luck more than money, anyway

I think today will be a good beginning of a new year for me. Don't know what will happen in the next few months, but whatever it is, I will be ok.

Hey I'ville.

Heres an odd thing - I saw an old episode of teh SImpsons on holiday - about when Homer bought Marge a bowling ball for her birthday and she had an EA almost a PA with Jacques the bowling instructor.

Anyone seen it ? I Was SHOCKED at how perfectly it described the creation of a class 2 affair and everyones reactions to it. Wasn't even funny it was so accurate.

I wish my Squid had chosen to drive to the Springfield Niuclear Power plans instead of the OMs flat like Marge did though.

Anyone see it ? I was really touched.

Bob,

Oddly enough I was thinking of that episode recently. I haven't had cable tv for two years, but I still remember it. It was pretty accurate.

FF I be cool, pretty much thanks !

Gonna have a 'me' day tomorrow. Gym in the morning, and a long prayer walk with my dog; family to Mad O' Rourke's Pie factory for lunch ( honest!) and slob on the sofa watching my team Leicester Tigers plan gloucester on TV in the afternoon. Squids a big rugby fan too so we'll watch that together with a bottle of wine !

Should be nice !

I have learned that nice things to do are STILL nice things to do even though my wife had an affair. For SO LONG afer D-day I kept reminding myself to be miserable. Horse apples !!!

I'll have a nice day tomorrow. The affaor & recovery won't suffer any by me investing in ME a little

How are you ?

I gotta go to bed and try to catch some shut eye.

I'll kiss Squid and bless her in her sleep like I do every night and chill out.

Have a good day/night I'ville. I love ya all.

Believer - I posted about the party a couple of pages back. It went well, we left early, IB said Happy New Year, Starz, I said Happy New Year IB and then I thought What the >>>> and reached over, turned his face to me and gave him a kiss and said "Whether you want it or not."

Sure made ME feel better, even if it didn't do a thing for him!

Happy New Year, believer.

Bob, that is so weird you mentioned the Simpsons. We were watching the one the other night where Homer nearly has a PA with the country singer.

It got quieter and quieter in the living room and I couldn't believe we were being affected by a cartoon.
