I don't know Liny, I just know that bounced cheques are a hugely common occurrence and cost companies a great deal of money. We're in retail (second hand books) and won't take cheques at all.
A lot of stores here won't take cheques anymore unless you've set something up with them first.

RIF!! Got a warning for you from Aussie as well but later...(owww you guys) Tim Tam it's two choc biscuits filled with choc fudge cream and TOTALLY dipped in milk chocolate. Its so yummy and rich. But I cant have one because of diabetes...sob <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> Now aussies warning is not to EVER drink this because its really .... really .... REALLY BAD. Aussies says the most horrible drink to be considered a beverage and safely drunk is Khoona. It is drunk by Afghani tribesmen on their wedding night and consists of a small amount of still-warm very recently attained bull semen. It is believed to be a potent aphrodisiac. I've seen the locals drinking some warm yogurt type drink... but I stay away from the local food as much as possible... Too many of the guys have gotten really sick by eating and drinking the local fare...
