ok, we are gettin way to far down the page. sooo...
A man goes to a restaurant, orders some takeout, and sits down to wait for his food. While he waits, he grabs a handful of peanuts from the bowl on the counter, and as he starts to chew, he hears a voice say, "That's a beautiful tie, is that silk? Very NICE choice!"
Wondering who made the comment, he looks around and doesn't see anyone nearby who could be speaking to him. With a shrug, he pops a few more peanuts into his mouth.
Next he hears the voice say, "Those shoes are stylin', my man. Are they Italian leather? They look GRRREAT!"
He whirls around to again but sees no one near him. He glances nervously around and then at his shoes, which he tucks self-consciously under the stool.
A little freaked out, he grabs another handful of peanuts. This time the voice continues with, "That suit looks FANTASTIC! Is it an Armani? Very nice!"
He immediately calls the waiter over and says, "Look. I keep hearing these voices telling me how great my tie, my shoes, and my suit look - what's up with that? Am I GOING CRAZY??"
"Oh," the waiter nonchalantly replies. "It's just the peanuts."
"The PEANUTS?!?" the astonished man asks, staring at the bowl beside him.
"Yes," replies the waiter, "…they're complimentary."

G'day I'ville ! Its a better day today. We took teh kids bowling lats night with our best friends and their kids. Squid was in jeans and a sweatshirt. She 'bumped' into me at the bar and showed me a tiny part of her lacy vest and panties. VERY VERY sexy !. She quietly flirted with me all evening then, the minx ! when we got home she was still playing it cool, a teasing me with just flashes on pink lace ! Then later in bed she seduced me like mata hari ! And told me some very very nice things....about thanks and love and trust and blessings and other stuff. Wow. THATS the way to make a boy feel better ! RIF, if theres any 'silver lining' to this brown cloud its been our family'ness'. We have never connected as parents and kids quite like we do now. We do LOADS of stuff together with an easy love: an easy coping. Like yesterday, it wasn't a big 'lets do a family duty thing', it was Squid saying " why don;t we take the kids bowling and have a laugh ? Mebbe Andy's kids would want to come too ?". Had a huge laugh together with friends and kids, then piled round nandos for chicken and salad together afterwards. Great !
Its brilliant. I am a better Dad to my kids now that I ever dreamed, and SO BLESSED that I have time to be with them more often now.
Family stuff on holiday was great, and coming back too. And Squid and I are a great parenting team again.
Good stuff, huh ?
