Robby - Yah, you hit it again, <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> (did I REALLY say that out-loud!!??) There is lots of doubt...not so much with how he's acting, but whether or not I'm doing enough...as I said before - I had recognized what I wasn't doing for our relationship, and was working hard to change it, when, thanks to him NOT being as complex, he was already gone, so seemingly, he didn't even know I was changing for him. Now, I have these days (like the last few) when I feel like what's the point - if I do, he could still leave, and if I don't, I'll drive him away for sure. Nobody is safe, and that just stinks!! As for the look - you're right, it probably was a football game he was missing and not "her"... it just speaks volumes about what was going on at the time. As for a new pic - YES! we do need a new one, and we've talked about it off and on for a couple of months now, just haven't put shoes on the words yet. Guess we need to bite the bullet and gitterdone! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> As it is, I'm putting off taking down all the Christmas decorations (they're usually down by sundown on Jan 1), because I don't want to put that pic back up, and I don't know how to tell him. I don't want to hurt him by telling him it reminds me of "those" days - it's a big slap in the face for him, and I don't want to do that. We both have changed so much - some for the better, some not...ugh! Guess it just goes to show that it's always about the rebuilding - you never really get to a point where your done...you just keep on trying to improve. OK, I'm a big girl...I can do this...I know!!! I'll break the frame and scratch up the picture...then he'll have to get the idea, right? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" /> (where's that devil grin when you need it?)

idiot thing #2 (i think i gave one last time i was trying to post here): every year my daughther and i go camping for a weekend at the girl scout camp. most years we hook up with another mom and her 3 daughters. we have a BLAST. i generally do multiply idiot things during those weekends which keep the girls laughing long after the weekend is even over. here is an example, i hope this makes sense translated into words, it may be one of those you have to be there kind of things... one of the girls was talking about how she was telling a younger girl that you can go spider hunting by putting your flashlight up to the side of you head. that the light will reflect off the eyes and you can see the spiders that way. she did not demonstrate what she meant. i listened and was thoroughly confused. later that day as dusk approached as we were walking down a path, i put the flashlight up to my head and said ok, how does this help?? the girls all fell down laughing. finally one was able to squeek out, you don't have the flashlight directed INTO your head, you have it along your head so the light is directed in front of you. somehow i got the idea that having the light directed into the side of my head was going to make my eyes see spiders easier.
