Where is everybody?

I have been in stupid, boring meetings for 8 hours today and now there's no one to talk to. IB went to fix something at his mother's house and called saying he was going to have a couple beers with DS. So I made myself a couple of margaritas. Why should they be having fun if I am at home with nothing?

I think I will go get in the hot tub. Au naturel. sp? The hot tub is a major trigger for me. Curly and IB spent a blissful evening there last spring and I have trouble getting in it with him. Since he is not home, and I have a very pleasant buzz on, I will go alone. Stupid SOB.

Hope you guys finish your dinner soon and come talk to me. Life is not going well, I think.

Why do I have so much trouble talking to him? Why am I afraid of him so much? I shouldn't be afraid. I am not the one who has done the wrong thing. Steve gave me some instructions on what to say and do before I call him again. I am afraid to start any conversation with IB. Why? I have been married to this man for almost 34 years. Why am I afraid to say anything? It's because for 34 years he has beaten me down verbally. I think I am too tired of this **** to put up with that any longer. I have begun exposing his tactics and he doesn't like it. Thanks to the ADs I am calm and cool and collected and I am able to talk back when I am beaten down (figuratively.) I don't get upset. My problem is that for 34 years I have backed down from every argument, admitted being wrong (even when I wasn't) and tried to keep the peace. Is that what they call conflict avoidance? Slowly but surely, I am speaking up and not backing down all the time. He can't stand it. But tonight he will come home all tanked up on beer. I have had two margaritas, and who knows if I will speak wisely or not? I wish I knew. Oh, well, it has taken me two hours to post this, since I have had numerous phone calls and a visitor, so if it doesn't make sense, be forgiving, will ya? When I began this message, no one had posted since 4:20 this afternoon.

Will it be a LB if I tell him "You're full of **** you dumb b******?" Probably. Maybe I should just go to the hot tub and go to sleep. Safer.

Hi all - I have been keeping up with reading here, but barely. I've been working my regular job and on the weekends and after work, working on the house from hell.

After D-day, I started my own property management business, and it is really picking up. The place I am working on I have only been managing since the renters were kicked out. What a mess! They did $25,000. damage (and no, I did not put them in the house). Everything is almost done now, but it has been unreal.

Hope everyone is having a nice New Year so far.

Yeah, RH, I did. Then when I went to edit I got interrupted by 5 phone calls and a visitor. Oops. Better give up posting and just go soak in hot water.

Evening I'Ville! How's everyone doing? I've given up on trying to catch up on all of the posts.... 5-6 pages is just too much!

Sheesh, at least you know how to edit, I don't even know how the heck to do that, so I let those typos be...lol

Hi, Caren. Welcome to Idiotville. Robby is the Mayor. You have to name 3 non A related idiot things you have done. Then you will need a job. Robby is the Mayor and Duke/Prince or something. Jelly is the Queen and the town drunk and something else. We already have a superintendent of potholes - oops I mean streets - and I am the sniper.
