You're right there LINY mate.

Telling 'em 'no' seems to inflame thei rpassions further but [serious head on] how flattering is it to be seduced by a woman who is out looking for such ?

The lass from Sunday night certainly ended up with someone else, so its hardly indicative of anything meaningful is it ?

Ah well. Must concentrate on not being a miserable git while I am here

A tattoo??

I say you get her a $500 chip from your favorite casino, one you want to stay in. Give her the chip and tell her you'll gamble together when you hit your next recovery milestone!!!

Just got a visual (that will be hard to get out of my head today--thanks de!) of Bob in leather and chains gripping a whip with a mask of Zorro.

(Hehehe. Reminds me of when I showed up at brown's house when we were dating on Valentine's day--showed up with flowers and a trench coat on. )

LINY - did you know that they have Barbies out now with easy to dress outfits, specially for little girls?

Ask me Barbie questions anyday - if I don't know the answer, I know where to go to find it out.

Barbie is my fav!

(and another thing I collect)

I might skive off my dull meeting this morning and do some shopping for the Boblets.

Bob,

With the current exchange rate a $500 chip shouldn't cost you more than 17 GBP!!

It was a trigger but I need to prepare myself because the shops will be full of it soon. I keep losing my log-in now so I'm off to bed but I will leave you with a thought that should make you all realise how lucky you are. Life deals us a bad hand at times but things could always be worse.

I work in a school in HK as a teaching assistant. Yesterday, all the international schools here had a photo sent through to them of a little caucasion boy, maybe around 3 yrs old, who has been orphaned by the Tsunami. He is in a hospital bed in Phuket, full of scars and bandages on a drip and NOBODY yet has come forward to say they know who this little chap is. He looks sooo sad. He is possibly scandanavian and it is possible that all his family, including grandparents, were killed. What an incredibly lucky boy to have survived but what dreadful circumstances to find himself in. God bless that little boy and I hope someone, somewhere recognises the photo. Good night. TT

Morning, Idjits,

LINY, I'm going to e-mail you just to find out your name.

Bob, I bet you did look just like George Clooney. (sigh)

Everyone else, I just can't keep up.

TT, you asked what recovery looks like (or something like that). I was thinking of starting a new topic and then you asked.

My topic was going to be called Laughter in the Home = Recovery.

It's when I noticed, and my son noticed too, and commented on it, that we were laughing all the time again. It's been a feature of our marriage for 30 years. I play straight man to Rob's funny guy. It's noticing how many people are in "recovery" but there's no joy.

We have the joy back.

Jen

If laughter in the home is recovery, then we have some of that ! Squid is so funny !
